Christmas 2010

Danny trying to get the Bumble Bee transformer together for Alex

Both kids got bikes, but Alex prefers Cam's

Cam sat there and played with his little learning kitchen the whole time, so i opened his presents.
Danny's just being a dork :-p

Alex helping grandma play the piano while us adults try to sing along to the carols.. Lets just say "12 Days Of Christmas" will never be the same, hahaha!

The tree! It looks like there are alot mre presents than there acutally was... Most of them are stacked ontop of a chair. Thats why they are piled so high.

Danny Singing "O Holy Night". My favorite Christmas song!

Christmas Dinner :)
Cam got to sleep in our bed for a couple hours the morning after Christmas

Alex and Uncle Bob

This year Christmas was really laid back! Christmas Eve we went to the Bradfords for dinner and some "carol singing". Let's just say, it was pretty funny listening to us try to remember all the words to all the songs. When we got home, we put the kids to bed and started on the gift wrapping. We had gotten alot of it done, so we were only up until about 11:30. We go to bed, and are asleep and at about 5:00 a.m., Alex runs into our room. I told him Santa hasn't come yet and he needs to go back to bed. He walks to the door, ran back and says "mom, i'm gonna throw up." . As soon as he says that, he throws up all over the floor! So, we go sit in the hall way while I try to convince him to go back to bed, offered him some saltines. He takes one bite and throws up again. I then gave him some pepto, take him back to our room, put him into bed, a few min later, "mom, i'm gonna throw up.". He climbs onto the floor and throws up all over a towel that was on the floor. He climbes back into bed, (by now its almost 6) and finally falls asleep. We slept until about 7:30 when Cam woke up. We all went into the living room and opened our gifts! I got a new sewing machine! I was so excited! I also got a big Geroge Forman grill, purple android phone (which I love), and some new shoes. Cam got a new bike, little learning kitchen, transformers, cars (from grandma, uncle Bob, Aunt Janis &Uncle Mark) and a shopping cart which he loves to push his monkey around in! Alex got a new bike, transformers, bakughan (how ever you spell that, Uncle Bob) a little nerf "shooter" as he calls it, clothes, Car (Aunt Janis & Uncle Mark) and Danny got the usual socks, underwear, pajama bottoms, boots, coffee maker, coffee, a new farberwear set. Anyhoo, that morning, we went to Nadja and Nathan's for some hootananis :) ate breakfast. Come home Cam and Danny go take a nap while Alex and I stay awake and play with our new toys :) (i spent this time trying to figure out how to use my phone). Later in the evening, my family came over and we had our shrimp boil. Uncle Bob stayed at our house, which the kids loved! They absolutly adore him! At 11:30, I completly crashed! I was pretty exhausted! This year, I've got to say was the best Christmas ever! It was so peacfull!

27 Years!!! AAAHHHHH!!!!

Yesterday was my birthday! I cant believe that I'm already 27 years old! It scares me a little to be so close to 30! I dont think that i've done anything for my birthday since before Alex was born, so it's been 4 years! I usually just stay home and Danny makes me something yummy for dinner, but this year, Danny took me out! I didnt know I'd enjoy it so much! A night without the kidos! First, we went to see Harry Potter, pretty good movie! It was so long, though (even though I knew this going in) and I was so hungry! When we got out I decided I wanted to eat some cajun food. Danny found this little resturaunt on his phone called Lola's, A Louisiana Kitchen. It was a little resturaunt on Charelston. Man was the food good! Even Danny liked it and he's picky about his cajun food! After we ate, Danny took me on a shopping spree to Burlington Coat Factory in Henderson. I've only been there a couple times before, but holy cow! I got some maternity clothes, cute ones, for like $5.00, $6.00, and most expensive, $14.00! I went a little overboard, i have to admit! We got a new bedding set (i'll post pics later..) Alex got some new clothes, Danny some new boots, almost $500.00 later... (I'm serious! we spent sooooo much money!) We went to Walmart to get Alex some transformers for Christmas. When we got there, Danny being a transformers fan him self, we got Alex more than he needed, but Danny was happy! We also got Alex his first bike! I cant wait for him to see it Christmas morning! $100.00 later, we were leaving. Now we have to get Cam a little tricycle because I told Danny that it wasn't fair that Alex get a bike and not Cam. So everytime I think i'm done with the kids' shopping, i'm not... Anyway, I had soooo much fun! I usually hate spending money, especially since it's so tight right now, but, it was a blast! Oh, Danny got me a new baby swing, new pair of pajama's, and the boys got me a new pair of slippers. LOVE IT!!! I got rediculasly spoiled!

It's a Boy!!

It's a boy! I'm trying to upload images, but for some reason it wont work!

Anyway, today was my 20 ultra soud. Baby Jonathan (yes i named him that along time ago!) looks great! Like his big brothers, he measures a week small, but completly healthy! I told Alex that he was going to have another baby brother and he wants a sister. What can you do, though, right? I thought I'd be alittle sad if I found out it was another boy, but the truth is, I'm so excited! I'm not even dissapointed! I went to Babies R Us and got a couple packs of onezies (which were on sale for $4.oo for a 6 pack!) I got me a new diaper bag/back pack. I think it will be more practical! I so can not wait to meet little Jonny Boy! I can just tell he's going to be adorable :)

Thanksgiving Day Weekend

This year I really thought we'd have a super low key Thanksgiving. I had asked Trudy what she would like us to bring for the feast and she made a list of things I could bring and told her we would bring some pies and sweet potatoes. I tell Danny what we were to bring, telling him to go buy some Marie Calendar's pies and he says "ok". He was at work at the time and had to go to Vegas the next day and said he would get "supplies". I thought that this meant supplies for the sweet potatoes. Then, when he got home he told me that he was going to make some home-made apple and pecan pies. I was kind of like, ok whatever... So, Wednesday night after the kids went to bed, around 8:00 p.m., we started to make pies. Danny made the crust while I pealed and sliced the sweet potatoes and apples then he said he wanted to make a sweet potatoe/ pecan pie. Just peeling and slicing seemed to take forever! I mixed up all the apple stuff for the apple pie and Danny did all the cooking (sweet potatoes). 12:30 rolls by, Danny are both so tired we're starting to move like turtles. We go to bed, get up Thursday morning, start putting the pies together and baking. It took us from 9:00 a.m. to about 1:30 p.m.. With us both being super tired, we go to dinner, Cam's super fussy becuase he'd been without a nap and lunch (I would only let the kids have a small snack because I wanted them to eat at Grandma and Papa's house). I was a little short with the kids, but we got through it! Then Nadja, my mom, and I decided to go to Walmart for black Friday sales. We left at 1:00 a.m. did our shopping, got home 3:30 a.m. I got what I'd like to call a little nap before the kids woke up. I spent all morning on the couch trying to stay awake! Cam, thankfully fell asleep about 12, 12:30, so I went to sleep too. Alex does not nap, so I turned on cartoons for him in my room and he let me sleep for about 1 1/2 hours. I felt better for a few hours, then the fatigue kicked in again! I tried so hard to stay awake for the Boise and Nevada game! If they wouldn't have gone into overtime, I could have watched! But, I was too tired and had Danny tell me what happened the next morning. If LSU would have won, BSU losing would have been great! Since LSU also lost, BSU losing didnt do us any good. They played pretty BAD! Anyway, Saturday I went to my moms for lunch and my friend Ciara was down from Missouri and came over for a visit. It was so good to see her! Sunday, I did absolutly nothing! I was worn out! Cant wait for next year (hahaha!).

Everything New (kind of..)

Cam, a few hours after he was born
Alex, fresh out of the belly! (His head was a tiny it swollen)

I think that newborn pics of my boys is appropriate!
So, I guess we'll start with Veterans Day. We went to the parade and there were people standing in the middle of road, blocking everbody who was sitting on the curb's (like your supposed to) view. It was quite irritating! As for an exciting day, it was not.
Onto something alot more exciting, pregnancy!
This pregnancy has been so different from the last two (the last two were completly different from eachother, too). I was sick from 6 weeks to about 15 weeks (this time around), which is a long time when you have a hard time eating food! This baby is just going to keep us guessing as far as the sex goes. I honestly think it's going to be a boy, which is awesome, but I'm quite ready for a girl this time around. My 20 week appointment is next Tuesday, and I can not wait! I'm so anxious as to see what we are going to be having! I am so EXCITED!
I've started to feel little kicks the last week, which I love! Even though they aren't very strong kicks, and definatly aren't very constent, I love feeling them!
I really haven't felt pregnant yet. It's been quite a strange feeling because I keep laying on my stomache, which feels like laying on a small air pocket in my lower abdomen. It's not very comfortable! Even with the tiny movements, I dont feel pregnant! I do pee alot more and I am quite tired all the time, oh not to mention the back pain is pretty bad (yoga helps alot to release the back pain, though). I just feel bloated all the time, not pregnant....
All I can say is I'm so excited for April! It seems so far away, even though it's not! My goal is to go into labor during the fair! I dont know what dates the fair is going, but I'm due the 23rdm so fair time would be awesome!
We are all so excited, but very nervouse! I've had many people tell me that going from two to three kids is the hardest of any numbers! I did have one person tell me that going one to two was the hardest, so we hope and pray that we have a smoother transition than we did with the first two. Please!! HAHAHA!

Being a Mommy!

My mother in law sent me an e-mail today about women who stay at home to raise their children, how a mother bonds with her child as soon as she becomes pregnant, and how being a mother is the most important job a mother could have! I've felt kind of guilty/bad lately becuase here we are, going to have our third baby and we can barely afford the two we have. Our children have never gone with out food, it's just the small things. Alex could use clothes in the worst way! He has four pair of long pants and about six shirts that still fit him. I wish I made an extra income so that if I needed to go buy clothes, toys, shoes, anything the kids wanted or needed, it would just be so nice! I've thought about getting a job many times. But, Danny has said that he didnt want me to have to comute, and in all honesty, I dont want to either. So that leaves very little option out here. There's Lins. When I was working full time there I was bringing in $1,200 a month. Do you know how much day care costs a month? $1,200! Then there's Ace and Home Hardware. They pay even less than Lins. They pay $6.50-7.00 an hour. Lins starts at $7.50? If I remember correctly.... Then there are the good jobs like Moapa Valley Water Co, Telephone Co, Overton Power Dist, Credit Union. Which are very rarely to never hiring. People who get jobs at those places work there until they retire because they are the best paying jobs in the valley. Anyhoo... just knowing that being at home with the kids is so very important to them as it is to me, it makes being dirt poor worth it! We wont struggle for ever, it will just take a while to get back on our feet. Everything will be worth it in the end, I just know it will be :)

I Am Thankful For....

In the spirit of November, the "Thanksgiving" month I thought that I would reflect on all the things that I am thankful for. Even though, I am thankful everyday of the year, not just on Thanksgiving and I am thankful for everything from the hair on my head to the toenails on my toes, this list is that of what is most important to me. So, I guess it's what I'm the most thankful for :)
1. My children and their good health
2. My husband
3.My family (who have to put up with my crazy pregnant hormones!) (everybody)
4. All of the challenges in our lives, they have only made us stronger.
5. Danny's and my good health
6. The roof over our head, whever that roof may be.
7. The food in my kids' bellies
8. The fact that no matter how bad things have gotten, we've stuck together and pulled through.
9. The clothes on our backs.
10. The simple things in life. They just make life worth living.
11. For my true friends .
12. We have running vehichles that are in good shape.
13. Even though Danny and I aren't really church "goers" I am thankful for the church and it's teachings.
14. I am thankful that there are so many things to be thankful for.

Happy Halloween

Danny and Cam. Danny is where Cam gets his eyes from. (and hair color)

My sisters and I

My spooky ghost, Alex

My little monkey, Cam

Terrifying, right?

Our first time trick or treating!

First stop, Grandma's house! I think I was just as excited as the kids were.

Waiting for all the kids to come to the door.

On our way to go trick or treating. Cam could've cared less...

Alex was so excited!

Being a complete stinker! He clibed up on the table and destroyed it!

One of my many pumpkins

More pumpkins

The spookiest one, all lit up.

The week of Halloween was a super busy one! The Monday before, my sister, Nadja and I went to see "Paranormal Activity 2". It was a very scary movie! It didnt really seem to sit with me, though, like the first one did. The first one freaked me out for months after watching it, the second, didn't really bug me so much. Maybe because I see the first one as being more plausible than the second.....
Tuesday was my sisters annual Halloween party! It was alot of fun! Had great food and the kids ran around like maniacs!
Wednesday, I didn't do a whole lot. I was worn out by the previous adventures.
Thursday, I went to my dr app. I was sad that the baby was uncooperative and had it's legs crossed and was very difficult to see if we were going to have a baby boy or girl. (I totally have a feeling it's going to be a boy..)
Friday we had lunch at Grandma Shacks house then went to the trunk or treat at the grocery store. I wasn't very unimpressed by the trunk or treat, but the kids had a blast. Being so tired that day, I wasn't in the best mood.
Finally, Saturday, we took the kids trick or treating! Since our neighborhood is pretty ghetto, we decided it would be better to take the kids to Logandale around Grandma and Papa Bradford's neck of the woods. Their neighborhood is very nice (other than it would be nice if there were street lights..). After we finished there, the kids wanted to go to more places, so we took them to Country Lane. By the time we were done there, it was 9:00, which is way past all our kids' bedtime. Alex didnt want to leave, but everybody was out of candy and turning off their house lights. Alex fussed a little, but as soon as we got home he told me, "mom, I'm tired. I need to go to my room and rest." (so cute) After the kids were put in their beds, they didn't make a sound! They were out like lights!
Alex is already talking about next year.... I'm just looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas! lol!

Pretty Lame!

I dont have any new pics to post (which is one of the reasons i am so lame.)
Life has been really uneventful lately. Danny was working five jobs at the same time, so we dont see him a whole lot, other than a couple hours in the evenings. He has a little work lined up for now and we're just hoping that it keeps on coming! He also might be getting a job at Mesquite Lumber when it opens it's door's back up, which will be really nice if he does! We will get full benefits and a regular paycheck, which I dont think that we've had steady income in the last two years or so.. So, if you can understand the excitment!
Pregnancy...... Well, lets just say that i'm just as cranky as ever, lol! Our poor dog is really dumb, and I tend to take out alot of frustration on her. I really just dont understand how one could get in trouble so many times for the exact same thing and still just not get it. I so wish we could afford obedient school! Anyway, enough on Sally! She really is a good dog! She loves her kids so much and they love her, she's just an idiot.
One week from today I have a prenatal visit! My doctor is going to check to see if he can tell us the sex. Even though the incident with Cam kinda makes me a little sceptical, I'm still super excited and hope baby is competly visable (if you know what I mean). Cam had a cord between his legs and wasn't very "visable" so doc thought he was a girl. Come to my surprize at my 20 wk app, he was a boy. Let's pray that doesn't happen again :). We really are hoping for a girl! My boys are awesome, and I love them more than life itself, but I could really use a change of scenery :)

Mommy's Little Pottie Mouth

So, as of recent, Alex has learned some new vocabulary, thanks to his daddy :). Saturday LSU was playing, and if you've ever seen an LSU game, you know that sometimes that have a hard time pulling it out. It was the last quarter and there was only about, maybe five min left or so (cant remember exact) and LSU was just making Danny mad so he yelled at the t.v. "GET THE D#$% BALL!!!" and of course Alex yelled the exact same thing at the t.v.! Danny didnt notice because he was in his little "zone", but I heard it, and honestly, it gave me a good laugh! After the game was over I asked Danny " did you hear Alex? He was repeating everything you said." Danny then asked, "did he say d#$%?" "yes", I said. We both kind of chuckled a little. Then yesterday Danny was making our dinner and Alex was pushing his little fourwheeler around and it got stuck on the rug and Alex says "sh^$". I turned and looked at him and asked "what?!" and he said something else as he looked at me and smiled and Danny says "that's not what he said" I said " I know, I just wanted to se if he'd say it again". I honestly cant say that it makes me mad and it definatly doesn't offend me. It kind of makes me laugh! He never hears those words from me, but he learns them in a few min of spending unsupervised time with his dad. It makes me laugh a little.

Farewell Mr. Dash Kittie!

Sadly i dont have any pics of my cat (not in the computer anyway). Friday Mr Dash went to his new home, Papa Markosek's! We've had mr. Dash for about 5 1/2 years! We got Dash after I had two miscairages. The first one I was 10 wks 5 days along (devistating!), my second I was about 5 wks along I'd just found out I was expecting (only three months apart). After expierencing what felt like the end of the world, I wanted to have a baby and be a mommy soooo badly! So, one day I came home with Mr. Dash! We were in a "non- animal" apartment, so we had to keep him hush hush for the two years we resided there with him! When Alex came along, at first Dash was very protective if him, but as Alex got bigger, Dash decided he didn't like him. Then two years later, Cam came. Dash was very unhappy by this! One year after Cam came, came Sally. Our awesome boxer dog! Dash absolutly hated her! After putting up with Dash hiding on top of my kitchen cabinets, shedding all over our counter tops and fur getting into my food, the cat had to go! Danny kept telling me "no" but I finally got my way. No more yucky cat hair! We haven't really missed him much (other than Sally, she wants to chase him) but him not being here has been the same as him being here. We never see him :) All is peacfull again hahaha!

New Comings....

So, as you all know, we tried to get us a loan mod on our house. Our monthly payments are just under $1,900, which in this economy has been way more than we can afford! When we first started working with the bank we were quite optomistic. They really seemed like they wanted to help us. As time went on they seemed less and less eager to help, and seemed just to not care. We only had one person who was really helpfull! That was it! So, we filled out all our paperwork, got everything ready for them that they asked for, sent it off, then the waiting game began! About six weeks came and went and we hadn't heard a single thing! So, Danny called to get to the bottom of everything and the people at the bank told us "that there was nothing they could do for us because we didn't get our paperwork in on time!" That was a big hunk of CRAP! We had gotten everything to them six weeks earlier, which was about five weeks before our "deadline" and our paperwork just sat on somebodies desk, ignored! We of course are less than impressed with Bank of America! Why put somebody through so much stress if your just going to screw them over? I'd rather be screwed over from the getgo. It's alot less annoying and stressfull that way! Anyway, now we'll be moving shortly (with in the next few months or less?...) Thank goodness we have a friend with a rental that has been vacant for a long time and he's only going to charge us $600.00 a month. Which is pretty amazing for something that is not an appartment. It is an old double wide trailer, but it's in good shape and will provide us shelter for who knows how long?.... So, I'm pretty excited about that! For now, that is our life. Stressfull! We're pretty bumbed about losing the house, but i think that it might just open more doors for more oppertunities... Hopefully anyways.

Our Latest News....

I really need to take some new pics of my boys.....
So, Alex and Cam are going to be big brothers! I showed Alex the ultra sound pic and he told me it was a baby girl puppy! We can only hope she's a girl, but I think puppy is his wishful thinking ;) None the less, we are all very exctied!

A Whole Lotta Nothin Goin On

How the kids watch Saturday morning cartoons (dog included)
This pic is kinda old, but this was the cuteset face! I called it the squinchy face! So adorable :)

Alex trying to keep the aliens out of his head. (hahahahaha, just kidding.)
Not alot has been going on lately. Life has just been crazy and stressfull! Danny has alot of work coming up, but we are patiently waiting for it to happen. (couldn't happen soon enough!) The kids are super crazy! Alex is a stinker, cute and sweet, but a complete stinker! Cam is also a stinker (already going through the terrible two's) and also very cute and sweet! Cam learned a new word today. Taco! We had taco's for dinnner and the word stuck with him! He even called Alex a taco, so funny!
Anyways, I wish there was alot to report, but there is not much! Oh, one thing! We are getting a loan mod on our house. We close the beginning of Aug! :) Very happy news for us! Our house payments are just more than we can afford right now and the bank has actually been very helpfull! I just really cant wait for life to become less stressfull! (neither can the kids!) I really dont mean to be so cranky! I guess I just dont handle lifes stresses very well! I'm tired all the time and super cranky! Sorry to my family!
So, for now, that is our life! Stressfull, we're extremly poor! , We dont know when Danny's job's are going to start (within the next couple weeks, hopefully) and we dont know if he'll be able to stay on top, I just want us to keep busy! Would it be selffish if I prayed for money? (hahaha, just kidding)

4th Of July!

Waiting for the Light Show to start!
Nadja, Nathan, Mattingly, Miss Sally

Kissy got to take a swing at the pinada! It was so cute!

Ales and Maddie, getting nice and dirty!

Everybody standing around, waiting for Chris to hang up the pinada. Look how tiny my little Cam-er-doos is! He looks so little!

Kids had a great time playing in the dirt!

Sitting around after dinner.

This year for the 4th celebration, we started off the day by going to the fair grounds, as usual. This year it was COMPLETLY lame! Every year since who knows when, they've had a fire truck and they'd squirt everybody with the hose, not this year. Also they've always had a airplane that would fly over and drop candy out of it, not this year. I guess they shot candy out of a canon and it didnt work so well. Only half of the candy flew out. It was completly retarded! Anyways... After the morning celebration I brought the kids home to go swimming in their little kiddie pool until nap time! They love their little pool, but so does the dog! My family came over for dinner. Nathan and Nadja brought pulled pork, which was so good! We bbq'd some hot dogs for the little kiddies, had some deviled eggs and frog eye salad. Was a great dinner! We then had the kids beat the pinata that Lara and Chris had bought for Allie's birthday (we'd forgotten about it). Afterward Lara, Chris, Mom, and kids all went home and Nadja, Nathan, and their kids stayed at our house to watch the fireworks!
p.s. pics are backwards :)

Cam's 12 Month Check Up!

Cam is now 16 months old and just barely got his 12 month check up. I dont mean to be a slacker when it comes to this, it just ended up that way! He was 20 lbs 2 oz, 3%, 30 inches 5% and his head was also in the 5%. He's just a teeny little guy! He's perfectly healthy and oh so sweet! The doctor asked me if I wanted to get his 15 month shots as well as his 12 months, and i declined! The 12 month shots made Alex so sick, I didnt want Cam to suffer anymore than he should have to. So, in 3 months I have to take him in for his 15.... It sucks to be behind!

Girlie Day!

(Yes I have freakishly long toes!)
Yesterday my mom, nadja, friend Shelley, and I went to mesquite to get a mani/ pedi! Even though they are kind of a rip off (expensive to me), it was so much fun! I love having my feet, legs, arms, and hands rubbed! We went to Pizza Hut afterward for lunch. Nadja and Shelley are on diets and had to eat a salad (hahaha)! Then went to Walmart and came home!
I left the boys with a babysitter. We love her! But, a sad story (to me anyway...) Alex is getting pottie trained right now! He's doing so good, but doesn't know how to hold it while he's asleep. I completly forgot to tell the babysitter to put a diaper on him before he went down for a nap, so she didn't. When I got home he was in his room still kinda snoozin, kinda not. So, I went in there and he's of course peed everywhere! He was so sad, and crying. I didnt want to make the babysitter feel bad and say anything infront of her (it was completly my fault. She's only 16 and didn't know..) So I paid her said thankyou and yata yata yata. As soon as she left I got down on my knees, gave Alex a big hug and said "did you have an accident?" and he says, still crying, "yeah, I'm so sad!" I tell him that it's ok and that he's not in trouble (he thought he'd get in trouble :( ) I reassured him that he was not in trouble, mommy forgot to tell the babysitter to put a diaper on him. Then he looks at me and says, while crying, "dont take iron man away". It made me so sad, the way he said it... He gets iron man taken away when he's too lazy too go pottie in the toilet, but in this case it wasn't that way at all.. I've never seen him cry a sad cry! I've seen temper, owie, you suck mom cries, but never sad and it seriously broke my heart! Anyway, after he realized that everything was ok, we got him cleaned up and he gives me a big hig and says, "thanks mom! I love you!". It was so sweet! I love my little boys! LOL!!

Memorial Day

My boys and me
The kids, Grandma, and Nadja. (Nadja had to physically hold Alex in the frame of pic.)

Us girls and kids!

The traditional McDonalds Breakfast!

The kido table

My boys!
It's the time that we give thanks to all of our fallen hero's who gave up their lives for us Americans! Putting flowers on all our loved ones headstones. Visiting our friends that were taken from us way too soon! Getting teary eyed everytime you pass a headstone of a baby or small child! Memorial day is not my favorite holiday, but I get the concept, and am very greatfull!
Every year we meet up at the cemetery (every year we seem to meet later and later). We always "visit" our family members and friends who are burried in the cemetery and afterwards... Head to McDonalds! Going to McDonalds is a tradition that I remember doing ever since it was opened! Grandma and Grandpa Bowler took us there every memorial day and would buy us breakfast! Good times! I love tradition! Anyhoo, after Micky D's we went over to my mom's house and played Beatles Rock Band! Always a good time when good music is around ;). And, that was our memorial day! Nothing much, but great memories, for me at least....

My New Hobbie

Recnetly, I decided I needed to learn how to knit! So, my little sis and I went to Joanne's and I got me some yarn and a how to book, and some crochet hooks.(I totally didnt know there was a difference..) While reading my book, I learned that I was a dork and didnt have the right supplies. The next day I went to the local hardware store and picked me up some needles! I have totally become addicted! For me it is very relaxing! It's something you can do while watching t.v. that doesn't require a whole lot of thinking. If I didnt have kids I could sit for hours and knit. Sometimes I knit until my hands start to cramp. Anyhoo! I love knitting. It's something I associate with old people, tho.... My mom never knitted, but both grandmothers did, so I feel like I should be old and gray, walking around with a cane :) Heeeeheeeeheeee! I love it though!
