Not So Much News...

I went to the dr the other day. He did a quick peek to see if he could see if Baby Bradford was a girl or a boy. He asked me if I wanted to know what I was having, OF COURSE I DO! He looked around for a bit then started giggling. I asked if it was a boy he said "no, I think it's another girl"
(he gets my sisters and I confused with eachother... I dont think we look alike at all, though). I remind him that I'm the one with three boys and no girls. He then says "even better! Time to buy some pink!" I just kind said "really? a girl? I was convinced it was another boy.." He then said he was "pretty sure it's a girl, about %85 sure, so you'll have to  let me know if I was right after your big ultra sound". So we're about %85 sure it's a girl, but it could be a boy.. With Cam he told me he was %95 sure he was a girl, but he turned out to be a boy on the big u/s. He told me he thought Jonathon was a boy but wasn't completly sure and he was right about that. So, we'll just have to wait and see! I'm still convinced it's a boy. My babies dont like to cooperate for early u/s. They like to remain a mystery! I'm really hoping he's right about this one! I would love to have a daughter, but boys are fun, too...

Oh Baby Baby

So, last Thursday I was supposed to go to the doctor. I did what I usually do, waited for Alex to get out of school, pick him up then drive to Vegas. We got about half way there and traffic stopped! I waited until about 4:15 (my appointment was at 4:20) and I knew there was no way I was going to make it before 5:00. Traffic was moving about 5 mph and I was no where near vegas or my dr's office. So i recheduled for Monday turned around ordered a pizza from Walley's and drove home! I was so annoyed! I could've found out the sex of the baby, but now it'll wait until Monday... I have a hunch that this baby is a boy. No, I'm not the lest bit worried, nor would I be the least bit upset if it is a boy. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it either way! A daughter would be great, but I just dont think it's in the cards... Here are some of my favorite names...

Boy-
Brandon
Landon
Jackson
Stephen
Lennon

Girls-
Elyse
Elsa
Lilly
Mary (after Danny's grandma)
For middle names I'd use either Verna (g-ma Bowler) or Leona (g-ma Markosek)

I dont even know what we'd give a boy's middle name... We've used most of the "family" names. Maybe just make one up? Or use Leon?? Who knows.... There you have it! Hopefully Monday I'll have a sex and I can start really planning!

Proud of my Boy

I just have to let everybody know how proud of Alex I am! When he started kindergarten I knew that he'd struggle at first. He's not real used to that kind of structure. We put him in music class last year to get some structure, but his teacher pretty much let him do whatever he wanted. If he didnt feel like participating she didnt make him. If he felt like running around, she let him. It was a total bust! So, when he started school I was so nervous! I knew he'd be great once he got used to the structure, but I also knew it would take some time. I serously expected to get called in for parent/teacher conference the first day of school! I didn't and have yet to. I do know that he was a little rough at first. He was used to his  music class teacher letting him do whatever he wanted, so I figured he'd think the same of his school teacher. I know it was a lot of work, but Mrs. Hammons has tamed the wild in him! I think she is amazing! He just needed a teacher with patience and a lot of sructure, and she's both. She is one of the most structured teacher ever! It's been amazing for Alex! I was so nervous! I'm very pleased with the progress he's made!
On another note... Last night Lara, her kids, Nadja, her kids, my mom,  Alex and I went to see ParaNorman. I've never taken Alex to the movies (not counting the time Danny and I were on vacation and took him to see Knocked Up. He was only 5 months old at the time), because he's a little hyper. He's mellowed out so much with age, but he still has quite a bit of energy! So, I take him to the movies, we had Bob and Davis on one side of the theatre, Tara, Diddy Bear, and Allie in the  middle of the theatre, and Mattingly, and Alex on the other side while us adults sat up in the middle of the theatre so we could keep an eye on all the kids. All the kids were so good! Diddy fell a sleep, Alex sat the whole time and probably drove Mattingly nuts! I dont like watching movies with him because watching movies with him is like playing 1,000 questions! I could hear his questions, but they were far away and directed toward Mattingly, lol! "Why aren't they just nice to Norman?", "Mom! Where are the zombies?!", and my favorite... "What are you guys laughing at??" The movie aws funny, but like most animated movies now a days, the humor is more directed toward adults. He couldn't understand why we were laughing. It was fun and now we all have a date to go see "Hotel Transylvania" when it comes out. Should be fun!
