Daddn and Cam checking out the fish tank
This is a replica of Tut's chair when he was a little boy. It was made of gold and Ivory and other expensive things!
Checking out the things that were found in Tut's tomb when it was discovered
This was a plastic mummy in a plastic sarcophagus. Alex was only somewhat impressed.....
These were mummification tools (sorry so dark...)Replica of Tut's Sarcophagus

A look into Tut's tomb and the main event!!! An actual repilca of Tut's Sarcophagus. Alex's face lit up like a kid on Christmas morning when we saw this!First before I tell you about our trip I need to explain why Alex is so into Tut! Grandma with the kitties (Bradford) was babysitting Alex and she had a National Geographic. In this magazine was the family of King Tut. His supposed grandparents, parents, wife, himself, and possible babies (died at birth). There are pictures of their "mummies" (bodies) and he thought that was so cool! I've read their "storries" to him, who they are, where they are from, how they died, how they might possibly be related and so on.. He surprisingly is still very interested in the whole thing and knows their names, how they were "related" to Tut and even how they died. So I decided to see if Vegas had a Tut exhibit and low and behold... THEY DID! It was in The Museum Of Natural History! So last Sunday we had a little family outing! We went to the museum and saw the dinosaurs, mummies, sharks, fishies, "stuffed" animals and other cool things! The kids absolutly loved it! All three of the kids were great and well behaved. (who woulda thunk?) I had a pretty bad cold, but I still enjoyed it! It was great family fun LOL!
