After naps Alex always wakes up a little hungry so, on this particular day, I gave him a bag of Cheeto's for his afternoon snack. Well, I'd gone into the bedroom to gather up a load of laundry and when i got back, he was sitting on the couch with his milk and bag of cheeto's sitting betwen his legs. I figured all that was missing was if his hand was in his pants. That just seems to be the "guy" thing to do. He is such a silly kid!! He cracks me up!!!

Our little adventure!!!
So, yesterday morning Alex was playing in my purse and, naturally, I didn't really think anything of it until he brought me an open bottle of adult extra strength tylenol. I only found four tylenol and knew that i'd only taken two, so there were four unaccounted for. I freaked out and called poison control and they had said that if he'd taken four pills that was enough to cause liver failure and I needed to take him to the hospital and they would give him a medication to counteract the acedaminophen and keep it from being absorbed. So, we drive to mesquite, in my little suv at 110 mph. I'm scared to death that we're going to kill ourselves on the way there (obviosly i was not driving) We get there and the nurse was very stern with me because they need every detail to be exact to your knowledge, and me already being freaked out and hormonal, started crying. They take his blood to see how much tylenol is in his system then tell me that if they are at toxic levels they would give him the medacine to counteract it, then send him to a childs hospital. We had to sit there in a hospital room with our 18 month old for four more hours so they could do a second test to make sure the levels didnt go up. The good news was, he didn't take a bunch of tylenol, the bad news was, we spent the entire day in the hospital. Alex, though, was surprisingly, very very good. He didn't fuss or complain once (excecpt for when they took his blood and tried to give him an i.v., but I think that I cried harder than he did!) Oh, what an adventure that was, hopefully we never have to go through that again!!

Well.........
Slowly, but surely my energy has started to come back. I'm not at %100 yet, but I really dont think that I will be for the rest of my life. :) Now, if the nausia would go away for good, i'd be great! Yesterday, Alex and I went over to a new friends house. If it weren't for Danny building homes, I would'nt meat as many people.(I've met two of my friends through him building homes) She has a little girl who is almost two and a six month old. Alex had so much fun, that he cried when we left (he was extremly sleepy, so that probably had something to do with it) He was out before we pulled onto the highway.
I borrowed my moms nintendo d.s. so I could play her guitar hero. I'm not really into playing video games (they always give me a headache) but, guitar hero is soooo much fun. I was playing and trying to sing along with the music and Danny came in and looked at me like I was completly crazy!!! I kinda suck at playing it, but I have gotten better. It's highly addicting, so I tried to get Danny to play it so he could become addicted then he could buy me one of my own. He didn't go for that!

Ugh!!!!!
So..... This baby could not come any sooner! I keep hoping that I will get my energy back, but that never seems to happen. I find the fact that my house is a mess very frusterating, but I'm too tired to do anything about it. We have'nt had a really good cooked meal in about three weeks. I just find everything to be extremly frusterating, and I dont know what to do about it. I have so much work to do for Danny (bookkeeping) and the only time I can get anything done around the house is when Alex is asleep. The house and laundry comes first and by the time I'm done with that, Alex is awake. When Alex goes to bed at 8:00 I fight to stay awake for an hour or so, then I too, go to sleep. All I can say is that March 2 seems like it's sooooo far away,(even though i do not intend to go to my due date!!) The end of Feb is also very far away, but it is sooner than the begining of March.:) I think I just complain too much and am getting impatient while waiting for the fun part of pregnancy to begin. I cant wait to feel the baby move around, even though i sometimes can feel the little fluttering of the baby inside, but it's not quite the same. And I'm definatly impatiently waiting to find out the sex of our baby. I want to go shopping so bad!! But, it's hard to do when you dont know what you're having. Blah blah blah!! I could complain more, but I wont, for whose ever sake is actually reading this:)

totally cheesin it for the camera

Alex helping mommy blow up his pool
So, today Alex was starting to get really restless. Danny came up with the idea for me to take Alex to the park, then I looked at the thermonitor thats outside our kitchen window and it said that it was *110 out side. There was nnnooooo!!! way we were going to go to the park in that weather. I then remembered that we bought Alex a little inflatable pool at the begining of the summer that we had never put up. I figured that would be a good way to get Alex out of the house and still keep cool.

Potty time!!!!
So, Danny decided that since we were going to be having another baby at the beginning of next year it was time to start potty training Alex. Alex just turned 18 months on the first of Aug and him being so young I really didn't think that he would even have an intrest in the potty at all!! As you can see...... he climbed into it. He did sit on if for a second, but I wasn't brave enough to take his diaper off. He wouldn't sit there long enough to actually go potty. He did have a really good time filling up the toilet with toys, then taking them out. It became kind of a game to him. I'm sorta scared to potty train him, because I dont really know how to go about the situation. Every kid is different and I dont know how to approach it. Oh, well!!! He's still my baby boy and when he can sit for more than a couple seconds, I will try the potty thing. I really dont mind changing diapers, I just dont want to be changing his still when he's four!!!
