Happy Anniversary

So, yesterday was our big 5 year anniversary. I took Danny to the movies, because that was what he wanted, and my parents babysat Alex. While we were out Danny had them put up my "surpirse" which happened to be a new bed. My mom kept calling Danny and I wasn't sure why, but I didn't ask any questions because I like being surprised. It is a california king size canopy cherry wood bed. He got it on sale for only $300.oo and the original asking price was over $600.00. I absolutly love it!! We have to get a new mattress because our bed was only a king and a cal king is about a foot longer (that's why there is a blanket shoved in at the end of the bed) but the new mattress can wait until we get our income taxes back. I'm so spoiled!!!!Danny has been so good to give me what I want, and I have wanted a canopy bed my entire life!! He just happened to find a beautiful one for the right price, and some day we'll have furniture to match, but that can wait. It's not the most important thing:) Anyways, thankyou Danny for my new bed, I love it!!!! Oh, we had to make some adjustments to get our current mattresses to fit until we can get a new one, and Alex is such a cute little thing. Danny had set his drill on the counter in the bathroom, and Alex went and got it, took it over to the bed and had it ready to start drilling, I of course grabbed it from him before he could scratch the wood, and told him to go get his own drill. So, Alex goes and finds his drill and "helped" daddy fix the bed by drilling and by moving around the support beams for the mattress. It was so cute!! I wish I would have gotten some pics, but I always think about it too late, then Alex is done doing whatever he was doing. Oh well!! Anyways, our anniversary was great, and to many more years of wedded bliss:)

Alex, my little booger!!

Alex has been growing and learning so much lately. He has been learning one to three new words a day!! His "sentences" are really hard to understand still. You can only pick out one or two words, but he knows exactly what he's talking about.
I really didnt think that his "terrible two's" could get much worse, but they have. He has completly started ignoring me. He can ignore me like I dont even exist, which gets extremly frusterating. He has started whining more, which also can get kind of irritating. I've been trying to teach him that to get something, he needs to use his words and not his whining, because whining is just really annoying!! He is so much fun, but some days I dont know why I decided to have babies;)He's a good boy, and we really enjoy him!!! I just HATE these terrible two's and the closer he gets to actually being two, the worse he gets.

So, last night I put my crib together. Is't it so pretty? It has a little storage drawr that goes underneath, but I havent gotten to that yet. That's Danny's job, even though i'll probably do it. I'm so excited, I'm getting to be a little impatient:)! Anyways, now baby Cam has a place to sleep even though I have alot to do in his room that I would like to get done before he gets here. We need to clear out all the office stuff and paint and bring in the changing table that is still in Alex's room. I cant believe that it's almost time for him to come!! It really has flown by so fast and I just need some projectes to do to keep me busy until then. We have alot going on though, so it shouldn't drag too much. Danny's and my 5 year anniversary is Jan 24 then Alex's b-day is on Feb 1 and Henry's b-bay is on Feb 5 then Valentines day and the wk after V-Day I plan on being induced:). I dont think that I can wait much longer, I'm just too excited!!! Anyways, I guess that's enough of me rambling on:)

17. Who drove you to the hospital? Actually, my mom and Lara did. Danny couldn't get off work

20. Did you take medicine to ease the pain? my epidural during labor, afterwards they gave me lortabs, I took them to ease the pain from a certain part of my anatomy that was pretty sore;)

Annoying post office lady!!!!

So, there is this lady who is like the post office janitor and she is really starting to make me mad. The other day I went into the package claim part to pick up some stamps. They have a wind chime type thingy that wrings when you open the door, only it's hung on the door handle. Alex goes over and starts playing with it (it makes cool noises and it's right at eyes view for little ones) Of course I tell Alex to stop a couple times and she comes in and was all, he cant play with that, he's going to break it. I said, I know that, I'm trying to get him to stop, he's almost two, what do you want from me? She really caught me on a bad day!! I had a bad cold and Alex was acting like a 2 year old being a total stinker!! So, we got our stamps, sent off our mail, then left. Well today we go in to pick up the mail and Alex wasn't wearing shoes, he should have been but he wasn't, but he WAS wearing socks. As soon as we walked in the door, she was mopping the floor and Alex wanted to get down and walk. I put him down and she says, you shouldnt let him walk in here bearfoot, he'll catch a cold!! I just looked at her like "excuse me?" he's not bearfoot!!! He should be wearing shoes, but he's fine!! So i just walked past her ignoring her and as we walked out she looked at me and said, you know, you shouldnt let him walk around barefoot in here. It's dangerouse! Again I just looked at her, picked Alex up and walked out. I swear, next time she'll probably tell me that I shouldn't let Alex walk at all!!! I'm a little hormornal, and I think that she needs to shut her mouth because she dont know me, and I dont know her. I find her to be very annoying!! Anyways, thats enough ranting for one day!!

The final count down!!

So, my due date is only nine wks away, only I am planning on having him one wk early! Me being the dork that I am, already have the lists of what I still need for the baby (which is not much) and stuff that I'll need for me once the baby gets here, and finally the list of what to pack for the hospital. I am so excited!!! I can hardly stand it! I'm still a little nervouse about how Alex will handle having a new baby around, and definatly worried about the whole sleep thing. You never know what you're going to get with a newborn!! But other than that, I can not wait!!! I have started doing the laundry for the baby, got the carseat washed and put the little blankie thingy Layne gave me on it. It's so cute!! Thanks again Layne:) And I have the little head supporter thingy washed and on it. I'm getting so anxious, I think that the whole nesting thingy has started for me, too. I want the house to be so clean, only I dont have the energy to make it as clean as I want it:-p! OH well, what can you do?? I'm just so stinking excited!!

Our Christmas

We all had such a good Christmas. Alex got super spoiled, and I was worried we wouldn't be able to afford anything. But Alex got a little plastic fourwheeler he can ride on, clothes, remote control truck, drum set, guitar, blocks (from uncle Bob) big leggos, a drawing board thingy, a tiger, tool set slippers, and a big truck that stores little cars in it. I got a new rocking chair, which I love!! clothes, a nintendo d/s, guitar hero game, and brain age 2, perfume, lotion, a new jacket, slippers, and a new robe and Danny got clothes, calogne, a voice changer star troopers mask (thats what he wanted) and his usual socks, underwear, and thermals. We all had an awesome Christmas, and are very blessed to have been able to afford a Christmas at all. Oh and my brother gave us a $200.00 gift certificate for amizon. NICE!!!! I bought stuff for the baby, and pretty much have every thing that I need, and Nellie and Dan gave Alex a little book and Danny and I a Rachel Ray cook book. So exciting!!
