Total Girly Post

Okay, now that I'm five months pregnant, the recurring thought? Repeat c-section or VBAC? Seriously is such a hard decision for me! My last three pregnancies were easy. I was pregnant, i'd go into the hospital, deliver a baby, go home. Jonathon being an emergency c-section totally threw off my game! I know I have about three to four months to make a decision, but I can't stop thinking about it. People give me their opinions, but the truth is, statiscally, the chance of me losing a bunch of blood and needing a transfusion during c-section is higher than my uterus rupturing during VBAC. But- if on the small chance my uterus did rupture, obviously isn't good. There's a very small chance of me dying and a slightly larger (but still very small chance) of the baby dying. The chance of me dying during c-section, very low, but still real. Doesn't matter what I do, there's a small possible chance of something bad happening. I've never been so scared of having a baby before. Nervous, because having a new baby is always a little worrysome, is the baby going to be good or colicy? Is he going to sleep ever? How is the other kid going to react to the new baby? This has always been my one and only concern with a new baby. I honestly dont like to hear "this is what i'd do if it were me" from people who've never been in my situation. It's hard for me! I dont know what to do. Either way, this baby is going to have to come out one way or another and I just want to make the right decision. I'd like to not put the baby or myself in any risk, but there's no such thing! I know I have one of the best dr's who'd never let anything bad happen, but sometimes crap happens and there's nothing you can do about it. I guess all I can do is see if my insurance will even cover a VBAC because my pregnancies were less than 18 months apart and go from there. Pray everything will go great regardless. Oh, to add more risk. I'm on blood thinners! I had an IV a few weeks ago and my blood just poured out from the needle. Just an IV! If I went into labor (my labors are only four hrs) my blood thinner injection will not have worn off in that time and I have to take it until I deliver. SCARY,SCARY, SCARY! So, yeah. I cant help but worry about every little detail. That's what I do! I honestly know everything will go well because I pray for our safety EVERYNIGHT, but I cant help but worry. Not worrying to me is like not breathing. I CAN'T do it, LOL! I just had to get that off my chest, and now I feel better!

Thanksgiving Dinner and Things I'm Thankful For

This year (like every year) we spent Thanksgiving dinner with the Bradford's. This year I offered to make the greenbean casserole. I dont eat greenbean casserole and have never made it before. So I apologize if it was disgusting. Alex blessed the food and could've gone on all night, but when it was time to end instead of saying in the name of Jesus Christ he said in the name of cheese and crust. It was hilarious! I laughed so hard my eyes teared.
The evening was pretty uneventful. The kids played with their cousins, I ate way too much. It was nice to see everybody! That's it. Awesome me didn't take any pics, though.. Lame!
Things I am greatful for...
1- Danny. He is such a great husband and father!
2- My children. They are so awesome and sweet! (most of the time.)
3- My home. It isn't much, and summer was brutal, but I'm glad we have a roof over our head!
4-Our vehicles. They run.
5-Both mine and Danny's families. They're all pretty awesome!
6- Friends- what would we do without them?
7-My fertility (lol)- Though this pregnancy was a huge surprise, I'm thankful that I don't have issues getting pregnant.
8-My unborn daughter- right now she's just a little kicker in my belly, but I'm thankful for her! I never thought i'd have a little girl.
9- All the little things in life. The little things are just plain awesome!

I'm so excited but scared also, that she might turn into a boy,LOL! The boys Alex and Cam (Jonathon's too young to really know what's going on) are so excited!! They can't stop talking about "baby sister" (who does not have a name yet.). I'm serously so excited!! I can gardly stand it! I wish I could just go on a shopping spree and buy all things pink! Anyhoo. We are so excitde and can't wait to meet our little girl :)

Not So Much News...

I went to the dr the other day. He did a quick peek to see if he could see if Baby Bradford was a girl or a boy. He asked me if I wanted to know what I was having, OF COURSE I DO! He looked around for a bit then started giggling. I asked if it was a boy he said "no, I think it's another girl"
(he gets my sisters and I confused with eachother... I dont think we look alike at all, though). I remind him that I'm the one with three boys and no girls. He then says "even better! Time to buy some pink!" I just kind said "really? a girl? I was convinced it was another boy.." He then said he was "pretty sure it's a girl, about %85 sure, so you'll have to  let me know if I was right after your big ultra sound". So we're about %85 sure it's a girl, but it could be a boy.. With Cam he told me he was %95 sure he was a girl, but he turned out to be a boy on the big u/s. He told me he thought Jonathon was a boy but wasn't completly sure and he was right about that. So, we'll just have to wait and see! I'm still convinced it's a boy. My babies dont like to cooperate for early u/s. They like to remain a mystery! I'm really hoping he's right about this one! I would love to have a daughter, but boys are fun, too...

Oh Baby Baby

So, last Thursday I was supposed to go to the doctor. I did what I usually do, waited for Alex to get out of school, pick him up then drive to Vegas. We got about half way there and traffic stopped! I waited until about 4:15 (my appointment was at 4:20) and I knew there was no way I was going to make it before 5:00. Traffic was moving about 5 mph and I was no where near vegas or my dr's office. So i recheduled for Monday turned around ordered a pizza from Walley's and drove home! I was so annoyed! I could've found out the sex of the baby, but now it'll wait until Monday... I have a hunch that this baby is a boy. No, I'm not the lest bit worried, nor would I be the least bit upset if it is a boy. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it either way! A daughter would be great, but I just dont think it's in the cards... Here are some of my favorite names...

Boy-
Brandon
Landon
Jackson
Stephen
Lennon

Girls-
Elyse
Elsa
Lilly
Mary (after Danny's grandma)
For middle names I'd use either Verna (g-ma Bowler) or Leona (g-ma Markosek)

I dont even know what we'd give a boy's middle name... We've used most of the "family" names. Maybe just make one up? Or use Leon?? Who knows.... There you have it! Hopefully Monday I'll have a sex and I can start really planning!

Proud of my Boy

I just have to let everybody know how proud of Alex I am! When he started kindergarten I knew that he'd struggle at first. He's not real used to that kind of structure. We put him in music class last year to get some structure, but his teacher pretty much let him do whatever he wanted. If he didnt feel like participating she didnt make him. If he felt like running around, she let him. It was a total bust! So, when he started school I was so nervous! I knew he'd be great once he got used to the structure, but I also knew it would take some time. I serously expected to get called in for parent/teacher conference the first day of school! I didn't and have yet to. I do know that he was a little rough at first. He was used to his  music class teacher letting him do whatever he wanted, so I figured he'd think the same of his school teacher. I know it was a lot of work, but Mrs. Hammons has tamed the wild in him! I think she is amazing! He just needed a teacher with patience and a lot of sructure, and she's both. She is one of the most structured teacher ever! It's been amazing for Alex! I was so nervous! I'm very pleased with the progress he's made!
On another note... Last night Lara, her kids, Nadja, her kids, my mom,  Alex and I went to see ParaNorman. I've never taken Alex to the movies (not counting the time Danny and I were on vacation and took him to see Knocked Up. He was only 5 months old at the time), because he's a little hyper. He's mellowed out so much with age, but he still has quite a bit of energy! So, I take him to the movies, we had Bob and Davis on one side of the theatre, Tara, Diddy Bear, and Allie in the  middle of the theatre, and Mattingly, and Alex on the other side while us adults sat up in the middle of the theatre so we could keep an eye on all the kids. All the kids were so good! Diddy fell a sleep, Alex sat the whole time and probably drove Mattingly nuts! I dont like watching movies with him because watching movies with him is like playing 1,000 questions! I could hear his questions, but they were far away and directed toward Mattingly, lol! "Why aren't they just nice to Norman?", "Mom! Where are the zombies?!", and my favorite... "What are you guys laughing at??" The movie aws funny, but like most animated movies now a days, the humor is more directed toward adults. He couldn't understand why we were laughing. It was fun and now we all have a date to go see "Hotel Transylvania" when it comes out. Should be fun!

File a Report! Person pretends to be overseas/military, and buys something from you on Craigslist, sending you a fake PayPal payment, and then wants you to send money via Western Union to a "shipping company" before the funds are "released

I thought I would share my recent Craigslist experience (no, that didnt happen to me, though he tried.) We've had pretty good experiences adopting out our pets on Craigslist, so we decided to rehome Sally this way. I get this email from somebody claiming to be geting the PET (as he says it) for his wife. He says he lives in Michigan, but has a home in California where he'd be shipping Sally to. I said ok, that's cool but I'm not paying for shipping or ANYTHING! He said he'd cover the costs of shipping and the dog's rehoming fee and whatnot. I thought this was awesome!I gave him my adress and he sent me a check. This is where it starts getting fishy... He sends me the shipping money and wants me to western union the money to his shipping agent, Donald Paquette. I thought this was very odd, but I was just kind of like "lets see where this goes.." I get the check Firday, deposit it let him know I had the check in the bank and he says "ok, I need you to pull out the money TOMORROW and western union it to shipping, then we'll pick up the PET on Sunday afternoon after church?" I said "no, sorry that doesnt work. The soonest I can get anything out is Monday, but I know there's a processing wait on the check, so nothing can happen until I know the money is safe.". He starts getting pushy.. Says," ok, can you just western union the shipper $300.00?" me: "no, sorry I cant do anything until I know the money is clear".  My box is full of messages. He tells me it's a cashiers check, which is instant cash. And I need to western union the money to him no later than Monday 10:30 am! I haven't replied to him. I looked up the so said shipper on google and I found several reports of fraud! In my case he's pretending to be Angela Edwards. angelaedwards555@gmail.com. I have no idea where the check came from, but I'm positive it's forged. I'm getting in touch with my bank in the morning and i'm investigating this HOMO!! I'm so mad! I'm gonna make sure this person ends up in jail, because that is where he belongs! Thank goodness I'm not out anything, but quite a few people have lost a lot of money due to this dip stick! I'm thankful for my google everybody addiction, LOL! I even google my own name.. I'm just not exciting enough to have anything come up!
