New Job

Danny has finally got a new job! We've been hoping and praying for this the past year!It starts the seventh of Feb at a company called Lahoist. We're so excited! He'll be making really good money and even better, FULL BENIFITS! I guess good insurance isnt as important as income, but with our three little ones, you just never know what will happen. I'm just so excited!

New House.

So, we've moved into our new house. Although there is still quite a bit of stuff at our old house, most stuff is here. So far I really like it! Everything is a huge mess right now, but it's coming together. So far it has brought some bad luck, though. Here's a summary as to how it's gone so far. Night one- Danny and I were up until 1:00 a.m. getting stuff moved/ put away. Alex comes in at 5:00 a.m.. "Mommy, I dont feel very good." on comes the puking..Night #2- Up way too late amd saw our "ghost" (more on that later..). I noticed some blood in Alex's urine. Night #3 Alex was screaming that his tummy hurt and we ended up in the e.r.. Was a u.t.i.. Night #4- Was up way too late again, nut uneventful. Night #5 (last night) Jonathon hardly slept and I heard from our ghost, again more on that later.. Hopefully our luck turns around! I dont blame bad luck on the house, it would've happened anywhere we were living, but it's just crazy how it's all happened after we moved. I'm so stinking sleep deprived! So, there you have it! Will post pics soon :)

Here's to 2012

Ok, so I feel like a Debbie Downer. Every year I complain about how bad that year was (every year since 2007) and hope for good things in the year to come. Well, every year it has gotten worse and worse. 2007 the market started slowing down and we bought our house thinking we were getting it for a great price! We were told that the market would drop a little but not much more. 2008- work was slow, but there was enough to keep us afloat. Found out I was pregnant with Cam, ecxited and nervous to see how work would pan out. 2009- Cam was born. Danny having NO work was driving back and fourth between Salt Lake Utah and Overton for work. Only making about $1,200.00 every two weeks. Half of that money would have to pay for travel expenses, which left hardly anything for mortgage and bills. I was going through some major post pardom depression and we decided he needed to stay home in order for me to get better. We could no longer pay our $2,000 a month mortgage, so we stopped. 2010-Work was extremly slow, but he had two really big projects, which he made some money doing. Found out I was pregnant with little Jonny Cakes. Again, so, so nervous to see what would happen as far as work went. Slowly work stopped coming in. 2011- work had STOPPED all together! Let the buisness and contractor's license's expire (it costs money to renew those), had to cancell our health insurrance, had to get on medic-aid because I had an emergency c-section, Oh Jonny cakes was born :), had to start getting unemployment becuase there's been no work, no money, no nothing! Not even jobs doing anything else. Danny's been doing the Hawiian water thing, but there's been no money in that. It's a brand new buisness trying to get started. Oh, and our house which we have'nt been paying anything on for a couple years now will be going into forclosure. They keep threatening, but haven't really done anything yet. Wish that this process could just be done and over with! Life has been so stressfull, I can hardly stand anything right now! Oh, and we are "buying" a new house. Our friend is doing a lease option, but there is STILL NO MONEY coming in! So, please excuse me for not being very optomistic, but here's to another crappy year! I know it could get worse, but PRAY, WISH, HOPE, ANYTHING!!! That it does not! I dont think i'm strong enough (no I dont need anymore testing, thankyou.). I'm already crazy and insane. I'd have to be locked away if our luck got any worse.... We'll have to see how it goes.

Merry Christmas

Doodles
Jonathon

The boys fresh out of the bath, in their Christmas jammies, playing with their toys.

Poor doodles was so tired Christmas night that for some reason he pulled his pants down?... layed on the kitchen floor and went to sleep. I felt so bad for the little dude. :(
Christmas eve at the Bradford's. Cam was fussy so Tara decided she was going to hold and rock him. Doodles "bouncie bouncie"Alex jumping on his new trampoline! The boys!

Doodles and Daddy opening presents

Alex opening his presents
Jonathon just sat in the middle of the floor playing with his toys and yelling, haha!

"Wow" Doodles says. Behind the tree

The loot!

First off.... I can not wait to see 2011 dissappear! This year has been the worst ever! I know I say that every year, but this year has been by far, the worst! The only good thing to come of this year was Jonathon! With that being said, here's Christmas :)

We haven't really made any money this year. Danny has had NO work and we've been struggling like crazy! Danny's been getting unemployment for the past few months, so it's helped somewhat, but we only get $400.00 a week. That barely covers the bills. Danny's been tryng to find a job. I have'nt, yes I know that I could help out, too. We just cant afford to pay a babysitter everyday, because Danny's been working on our house day and night getting it ready for us to move in. I feel bad that other than making meals, keeping our house livable, making sure our kids are happy, i've been otherwise completly useless :(. Life has been pretty stressfull! So, we were really worried about Christmas this year. We wanted our kids to have a happy time, not knowing that mommy and daddy are poor. Danny and I spent alot of our unempoyment money on buying the kids a few toys and a trampoline (which we got the tramp and cage for $265.00). We figured that would be a good Christmas! But, then Nadja and Nathan went shopping for the boys, which meant so much to me! Our bishop also dropped off a big garbage bag full of wrapped presents for the kids, somebody donated a big box full of toys for the boys, and one of my freinds went shopping for the boys and bought them some clothes. It was all so very overwhelming and humbling. I hope that someday I can do the same for somebody else. I cant describe the feeling that came over me when I saw all those presents under our tree. I know that Christmas isn't about gifts, but to a almost 5 year old and amost 3 year old, it's all about the presents! My kids had the best Christmas ever! The next few years are going to be dissappointing compared to this year, lol! The only thing that would've made it better was if my brother was here. We sure did miss him, but we understand why he couldn't make it. Anyhoo... THankyou to everybody who gave me a Christmas to remember! It's times like these you realize that there are actually still good people in the world. THANKYOU!

This is how I found Jonathon asleep Christmas Eve :)

My Birthday Weekend!

After the zoo, the swap meet, and walking around Lowe's, Jonathon was pooped! He slept through dinner.
On the turtles. I should have turned the stroller so Jonathon could've been in the picture also.

Cam was so excited about seeing the elephants, but the vegas zoo didn't have any. This statue was the only elephant they had.The chimpanzee's... They were so cute! They were climbing the trees and fence.Pretty lion! She was kinda staring me down... She started growling when I took this pic. I think she was tired, or hungry..... Alex was petting the goatsMommy's little marshmallow!

This year for my birthday we decided to do stuff as a family. Saturday night Danny made me some of his yummy ettouffe. I dont like cake, so we had brownies and icecream. The kids sang happy birthday to me and then I let them open my presents. I got Micheal Jackson Experience for the wii. Two pair of sweat pants and a hoodie. Oh, and a super cute pair of clogs. Danny and I played MJ experience for a while then we watched a movie. I fell asleep half way through and cant even tell you what we were watching or what it was about. Sunday after we all got up, we went to Vegas to the swap meet to find a chandelier for our new house. We found a lady there who had some antiques (we got something for Danny's mom there for $25.00) and she said she had some antique chandeliers that she didn't have with her, but could come to her house to look at. So, we left and went to Lowe's to see how much clay blocks were for our wood burning stove we're going to install at our new house then we went to the zoo. It was so small, only three acres. It was chillie outside so alot of the animals were hiding or sleeping. We did get to see tons of pigeons, chickens, peacocks. They had ostriches and there were a bunch of pigeons around them and Alex asked if they were the osriches babies, lol! We saw a baby gorrilla, but he was sleeping and was hard to see. We saw all types of birds. They had a lion, a mountain lion, a lynx, some fasa (so cute!), a alligater, snakes, a turtle, some giant rat looking things, and that about sums up the zoo. The kids loved it, which made it fun! After the zoo we went to eat at Cici's pizza. Would totally not recomend eating there, but we had fun. After dinner we ventured home! The kids passed out! They slept so good last night! Nobody woke up, which was great for me :)

Jonathon's 1/2 Year Photo Shoot (even though he's almost 8 months old.)

This pic, to me, looks like he's smelled something rank! in which i've titled "who farted?"

This one is the funkey chicken

This one totally reminds me of the "Joey Tribbiani, how you doin'?"

If it weren't for the huge smile on his face, i'd say, "you wanna mess with me?"

This is the please tell me we're done....

"Really?"

He's so happy in this pic! He's again, so happy!

I tried so hard to get some cute pics of him like this, but he kept rolling away.... I caught this one just before he rolled.

The look on his face cracks me up! He looks so annoyed!

Again, lucky to catch him before he rolled away.

He did not like wearing the Santa hat and tried so hard to pull it off. Trying to pull it off

Still trying...

"Who me?"

Delilah and Jonny Cakes. She wouldd't move! I had to crop her little tush out of all of these pics because no matter what I did, she'd come back!

Ok, so i'm anything but a photographer. I dont have a super fancy photogragraphers camera. I dont know the "rules" of photography. I dont know how to use my adobe photoshop other than to crop, brighten, darken, and to turn photos black and white. The list goes on and on..... Even though I have no idea what the heck i'm doing, little Jonathon made these photos look ADORABLE! Yes there is drool on his chin in most the photos and if I wanted to take all the time to figure out how to remove it, I could, BUT! I think that drool on the chin of a 7 1/2 month old is characteristic and cute. It makes me wonder what people did before editing existed. Wipe the drool off their kids' chins before a pic was taken? ALWAYS take a perfect picture? I'm sure they did those things. I know nothing of either, lol! I tried, though :)

Again, Poor Little Delilah.

Thanksgiving afternoon I noticed a big lump on Delilah's ear. I'd never noticed it before and it seemed to come out of no where. The first thing I thought was tumor. Boxers are known for tumors, my sisters boxer had a couple tumors removed a couple months ago. It has nothing to do with her color. So, I decided just to watch what it would do. The first day i noticed a little tiny bit of discharge. So, I was hoping it was a cyst. The next day when she woke up it was oozing blood and yellow-ish discharge. It is a little swollen still, but everyday the swelling goes down. Thank goodness! I sure do worry about this little dog!
