It's a Boy!!

It's a boy! I'm trying to upload images, but for some reason it wont work!

Anyway, today was my 20 ultra soud. Baby Jonathan (yes i named him that along time ago!) looks great! Like his big brothers, he measures a week small, but completly healthy! I told Alex that he was going to have another baby brother and he wants a sister. What can you do, though, right? I thought I'd be alittle sad if I found out it was another boy, but the truth is, I'm so excited! I'm not even dissapointed! I went to Babies R Us and got a couple packs of onezies (which were on sale for $4.oo for a 6 pack!) I got me a new diaper bag/back pack. I think it will be more practical! I so can not wait to meet little Jonny Boy! I can just tell he's going to be adorable :)

Thanksgiving Day Weekend

This year I really thought we'd have a super low key Thanksgiving. I had asked Trudy what she would like us to bring for the feast and she made a list of things I could bring and told her we would bring some pies and sweet potatoes. I tell Danny what we were to bring, telling him to go buy some Marie Calendar's pies and he says "ok". He was at work at the time and had to go to Vegas the next day and said he would get "supplies". I thought that this meant supplies for the sweet potatoes. Then, when he got home he told me that he was going to make some home-made apple and pecan pies. I was kind of like, ok whatever... So, Wednesday night after the kids went to bed, around 8:00 p.m., we started to make pies. Danny made the crust while I pealed and sliced the sweet potatoes and apples then he said he wanted to make a sweet potatoe/ pecan pie. Just peeling and slicing seemed to take forever! I mixed up all the apple stuff for the apple pie and Danny did all the cooking (sweet potatoes). 12:30 rolls by, Danny are both so tired we're starting to move like turtles. We go to bed, get up Thursday morning, start putting the pies together and baking. It took us from 9:00 a.m. to about 1:30 p.m.. With us both being super tired, we go to dinner, Cam's super fussy becuase he'd been without a nap and lunch (I would only let the kids have a small snack because I wanted them to eat at Grandma and Papa's house). I was a little short with the kids, but we got through it! Then Nadja, my mom, and I decided to go to Walmart for black Friday sales. We left at 1:00 a.m. did our shopping, got home 3:30 a.m. I got what I'd like to call a little nap before the kids woke up. I spent all morning on the couch trying to stay awake! Cam, thankfully fell asleep about 12, 12:30, so I went to sleep too. Alex does not nap, so I turned on cartoons for him in my room and he let me sleep for about 1 1/2 hours. I felt better for a few hours, then the fatigue kicked in again! I tried so hard to stay awake for the Boise and Nevada game! If they wouldn't have gone into overtime, I could have watched! But, I was too tired and had Danny tell me what happened the next morning. If LSU would have won, BSU losing would have been great! Since LSU also lost, BSU losing didnt do us any good. They played pretty BAD! Anyway, Saturday I went to my moms for lunch and my friend Ciara was down from Missouri and came over for a visit. It was so good to see her! Sunday, I did absolutly nothing! I was worn out! Cant wait for next year (hahaha!).

Everything New (kind of..)

Cam, a few hours after he was born
Alex, fresh out of the belly! (His head was a tiny it swollen)

I think that newborn pics of my boys is appropriate!
So, I guess we'll start with Veterans Day. We went to the parade and there were people standing in the middle of road, blocking everbody who was sitting on the curb's (like your supposed to) view. It was quite irritating! As for an exciting day, it was not.
Onto something alot more exciting, pregnancy!
This pregnancy has been so different from the last two (the last two were completly different from eachother, too). I was sick from 6 weeks to about 15 weeks (this time around), which is a long time when you have a hard time eating food! This baby is just going to keep us guessing as far as the sex goes. I honestly think it's going to be a boy, which is awesome, but I'm quite ready for a girl this time around. My 20 week appointment is next Tuesday, and I can not wait! I'm so anxious as to see what we are going to be having! I am so EXCITED!
I've started to feel little kicks the last week, which I love! Even though they aren't very strong kicks, and definatly aren't very constent, I love feeling them!
I really haven't felt pregnant yet. It's been quite a strange feeling because I keep laying on my stomache, which feels like laying on a small air pocket in my lower abdomen. It's not very comfortable! Even with the tiny movements, I dont feel pregnant! I do pee alot more and I am quite tired all the time, oh not to mention the back pain is pretty bad (yoga helps alot to release the back pain, though). I just feel bloated all the time, not pregnant....
All I can say is I'm so excited for April! It seems so far away, even though it's not! My goal is to go into labor during the fair! I dont know what dates the fair is going, but I'm due the 23rdm so fair time would be awesome!
We are all so excited, but very nervouse! I've had many people tell me that going from two to three kids is the hardest of any numbers! I did have one person tell me that going one to two was the hardest, so we hope and pray that we have a smoother transition than we did with the first two. Please!! HAHAHA!

Being a Mommy!

My mother in law sent me an e-mail today about women who stay at home to raise their children, how a mother bonds with her child as soon as she becomes pregnant, and how being a mother is the most important job a mother could have! I've felt kind of guilty/bad lately becuase here we are, going to have our third baby and we can barely afford the two we have. Our children have never gone with out food, it's just the small things. Alex could use clothes in the worst way! He has four pair of long pants and about six shirts that still fit him. I wish I made an extra income so that if I needed to go buy clothes, toys, shoes, anything the kids wanted or needed, it would just be so nice! I've thought about getting a job many times. But, Danny has said that he didnt want me to have to comute, and in all honesty, I dont want to either. So that leaves very little option out here. There's Lins. When I was working full time there I was bringing in $1,200 a month. Do you know how much day care costs a month? $1,200! Then there's Ace and Home Hardware. They pay even less than Lins. They pay $6.50-7.00 an hour. Lins starts at $7.50? If I remember correctly.... Then there are the good jobs like Moapa Valley Water Co, Telephone Co, Overton Power Dist, Credit Union. Which are very rarely to never hiring. People who get jobs at those places work there until they retire because they are the best paying jobs in the valley. Anyhoo... just knowing that being at home with the kids is so very important to them as it is to me, it makes being dirt poor worth it! We wont struggle for ever, it will just take a while to get back on our feet. Everything will be worth it in the end, I just know it will be :)

I Am Thankful For....

In the spirit of November, the "Thanksgiving" month I thought that I would reflect on all the things that I am thankful for. Even though, I am thankful everyday of the year, not just on Thanksgiving and I am thankful for everything from the hair on my head to the toenails on my toes, this list is that of what is most important to me. So, I guess it's what I'm the most thankful for :)
1. My children and their good health
2. My husband
3.My family (who have to put up with my crazy pregnant hormones!) (everybody)
4. All of the challenges in our lives, they have only made us stronger.
5. Danny's and my good health
6. The roof over our head, whever that roof may be.
7. The food in my kids' bellies
8. The fact that no matter how bad things have gotten, we've stuck together and pulled through.
9. The clothes on our backs.
10. The simple things in life. They just make life worth living.
11. For my true friends .
12. We have running vehichles that are in good shape.
13. Even though Danny and I aren't really church "goers" I am thankful for the church and it's teachings.
14. I am thankful that there are so many things to be thankful for.

Happy Halloween

Danny and Cam. Danny is where Cam gets his eyes from. (and hair color)

My sisters and I

My spooky ghost, Alex

My little monkey, Cam

Terrifying, right?

Our first time trick or treating!

First stop, Grandma's house! I think I was just as excited as the kids were.

Waiting for all the kids to come to the door.

On our way to go trick or treating. Cam could've cared less...

Alex was so excited!

Being a complete stinker! He clibed up on the table and destroyed it!

One of my many pumpkins

More pumpkins

The spookiest one, all lit up.

The week of Halloween was a super busy one! The Monday before, my sister, Nadja and I went to see "Paranormal Activity 2". It was a very scary movie! It didnt really seem to sit with me, though, like the first one did. The first one freaked me out for months after watching it, the second, didn't really bug me so much. Maybe because I see the first one as being more plausible than the second.....
Tuesday was my sisters annual Halloween party! It was alot of fun! Had great food and the kids ran around like maniacs!
Wednesday, I didn't do a whole lot. I was worn out by the previous adventures.
Thursday, I went to my dr app. I was sad that the baby was uncooperative and had it's legs crossed and was very difficult to see if we were going to have a baby boy or girl. (I totally have a feeling it's going to be a boy..)
Friday we had lunch at Grandma Shacks house then went to the trunk or treat at the grocery store. I wasn't very unimpressed by the trunk or treat, but the kids had a blast. Being so tired that day, I wasn't in the best mood.
Finally, Saturday, we took the kids trick or treating! Since our neighborhood is pretty ghetto, we decided it would be better to take the kids to Logandale around Grandma and Papa Bradford's neck of the woods. Their neighborhood is very nice (other than it would be nice if there were street lights..). After we finished there, the kids wanted to go to more places, so we took them to Country Lane. By the time we were done there, it was 9:00, which is way past all our kids' bedtime. Alex didnt want to leave, but everybody was out of candy and turning off their house lights. Alex fussed a little, but as soon as we got home he told me, "mom, I'm tired. I need to go to my room and rest." (so cute) After the kids were put in their beds, they didn't make a sound! They were out like lights!
Alex is already talking about next year.... I'm just looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas! lol!

Pretty Lame!

I dont have any new pics to post (which is one of the reasons i am so lame.)
Life has been really uneventful lately. Danny was working five jobs at the same time, so we dont see him a whole lot, other than a couple hours in the evenings. He has a little work lined up for now and we're just hoping that it keeps on coming! He also might be getting a job at Mesquite Lumber when it opens it's door's back up, which will be really nice if he does! We will get full benefits and a regular paycheck, which I dont think that we've had steady income in the last two years or so.. So, if you can understand the excitment!
Pregnancy...... Well, lets just say that i'm just as cranky as ever, lol! Our poor dog is really dumb, and I tend to take out alot of frustration on her. I really just dont understand how one could get in trouble so many times for the exact same thing and still just not get it. I so wish we could afford obedient school! Anyway, enough on Sally! She really is a good dog! She loves her kids so much and they love her, she's just an idiot.
One week from today I have a prenatal visit! My doctor is going to check to see if he can tell us the sex. Even though the incident with Cam kinda makes me a little sceptical, I'm still super excited and hope baby is competly visable (if you know what I mean). Cam had a cord between his legs and wasn't very "visable" so doc thought he was a girl. Come to my surprize at my 20 wk app, he was a boy. Let's pray that doesn't happen again :). We really are hoping for a girl! My boys are awesome, and I love them more than life itself, but I could really use a change of scenery :)
