My Last Ghost Story: Messages In The Mirror

When I was about 12 or 13 years old (my parents were divorced) my mom was out of town for some reason and my dad was staying at our house. Lara and I were both at one of our friends' house's and Nadja and my dad were at the house. Nadja was in her room listening to music and reading like she usually was and my dad decided to take a shower. He turned on the water to heat it up and he was just waiting for the water to heat and he heard somebody walking in the hallway. He thought it was nadja, so he opened the door to look and there was nobody there. He then knocked on nadja's door to see if it were her walking through the hallway and she said "no, i'm in here reading". He said "ok" thought he was hearing things and that was that. He walked back to the bathroom and noticed something written on the mirror in the steam. In the mirror were the words "hi unc ed!" He freaked a little then went back to Nadja's room to ask if she'd somehow done it. She thought he was crazy. She looked in the mirror and sure enough, it had been written on. It looked like it was written by something thicker than a finger, but not thick enough to be something more than a finger. We think it was cousin Dana because she always called him "Unc Ed". It was a little unnearving becuase we left it on the mirror for forever! We thought it was fun to scare who ever even dared to come over. I wish I had a picture... I cant remember how long it took us to finally wash our mirror, lol!

Who's That Girl?

One of the many Saturday mornings, my mom was the only one awake, in the kitchen washing dishes. She was washing away when she heard a little sigh. She thought, "oh, Lara's up" (there was no way Nadja or I would be awake that early on a saturday..). So she looked over to where she heard the sigh and to say good morning to Lara and it wasn't Lara. It was a little toe-headed girl, probably about eight years old with big bright blue eyes. When my mom looked at her she smiled, then walked off and dissappeared. My mom said she looked alot like my cousin Lara Leavitt when she was little. My cousin died when I was about three or four, I think she was about 16, 17 years old.. I remember sitting in the hospital whem she was sick. The whole family was there, and I remember being excited about getting McDonalds for dinner. Anyhoo... Who ever this little girl was, she was no threat. My mom said she seemed to just be checking things out.

Ghost!

When Nadja was a jr in high school, she was home alone getting ready for school. She was standing in front of her mirror, her music was on. Her door was open ab0ut a foot so she could clearly see out into the hallway. She was puting on her make-up and she heard a noise coming in from the hallway. When she looked she saw something very unexpected. A full body apparition. "It" i say it, because she said he didn't look human, was a man, about 6'4". Longish black hair, wearing a trench coat that went all the way down to the floor, and his face was terrifying! He was standing in the door way looking at her. She was of course very startled! She ran out of her room as fast as she could, running through the "man", and left the house as quickly as possible. She ended up getting to school an hour early that day. She'd never been so scared in her life!

Poor Little Delilah

Yesterday I was gone most of the day. When I got home I took the puppies outside to go pottie then brought them in the house to let them play then after a while of playing I put them in their kennel so they could get some food and water. Miss Delilah was fine at this time. She was running and playing and just her happy little self! An hour later, I was sitting on the computer and I could hear one of the puppies wheezing. I looked in the kennel and it was Delilah. Her eyes were watery, her nose was running and she was foaming at the mouth. I took her out of her kennel and she was unresponsive and having a really hard time breathing. I kind of paniced! I tried to look down her throat to see if she was choaking, but she wouldn't let me open her mouth and her face was so slimy from the foam, boogers, and tears I had a hard time gripping her jaw. I threw all the kids into the car pretty fast. I had to ask Alex if Jonathon was in his carseat, becuase I wasn't sure I put him in there, ha! I took her to the vet and Dr Kris was on her way to go immunize some cows, so she told me she'd call me on her way back and she'd meet me at her office. So we waited. Danny came home, so I left the kids with him and took my dad home because he was going to sit in the car with the kids while I was in the vets office. Poor delilah had to get knocked out because she kept biting dr Kris' fingers when she was trying to look and feel down her throat. Good news, she wasn't choaking. Bad news, she has strep throat!!!! Her lipnodes and tonsils were swollen and her throat was full of mucus. So, the reason she couldn't breathe was because her lipnodes were basically strangling her (which is why they call it the strangles in puppies). So she got a shot of stearroids to hopefully shrink her lipnodes, some antibiotics and i've been spraying in her throat with chloraseptic spray and giving her benadryl for the mucus! Poor little girl! It came on so fast! Now I just HOPE AND PRAY that none of the kids get it and NO MORE PUPPIES get sick!

In The Light Of Halloween

Going to see the "Paranormal Activity" movies has kind of become a tradition of mine and Nadja's. Last Friday we went to see "Paranormal Activity 3". The first one was scary and creepy... The second one was a little scarier and a little creepier. The third..... HOLY CRAP scary!!! Seriously! I didnt think that there was any way to make a movie scarier than the first two, but I was wrong! There were about four parts of that movie that just made every hair on my body stand on end! I wanted to cover my eyes, but couldn't because I didn't want to miss anything. So, if you're into extremly freaky movies, I'd totally recomend this movie! I'm still freaked out by it, and it's been a few days since i've seen it.

Say What?!

Along time ago, when my brother Rob lived at home, Nadja would sleep in his room when he was gone. He was the high school pitcher for the baseball team and would be gone quite a bit for either a game or a tournament. One night, while he was up in California for a baseball tournament, Nadja was sleeping in his room. At this time things in our house was super bad and scary! She was woken up by his radio turning on. When she tried to move, she couldn't. She then felt something in the room with her. She tried to yell for my mom, but she couldn't. No sound would come out. She then started feeling whatever it was get closer and closer, like it was on top of her. This thing had her cornered in the corner of the bed. She couldn't move or scream, and once she was able to yell for my mom, the thing left and she was able to move again. We all have ou8r theories as to what this thing was, but I dont need to say. Whatever it was, was very bad and tried it's hardest to keep us scared!

Hhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmm.....

I was told about this book by my moms friend. He asked me if I was done having baby's or if i still wanted to try for a girl. When I told him I wanted a girl he told me about this book. No I'm not trying to get pregnant right now, I'm not thinking about getting pregnant in the near future, but, I do want another baby, preferably a baby girl. I figure, what could it hurt? Yes my next baby could be another boy and i'd still ecstatic. I'd just like a little princess!

So, if anybody looking to have another baby who has a specific gender in mind, maybe this book is for you? I wish I knew from personal expierience as to whether it works or not, but I do not. I think it's definatly worth a try!
