Cam is now 16 months old and just barely got his 12 month check up. I dont mean to be a slacker when it comes to this, it just ended up that way! He was 20 lbs 2 oz, 3%, 30 inches 5% and his head was also in the 5%. He's just a teeny little guy! He's perfectly healthy and oh so sweet! The doctor asked me if I wanted to get his 15 month shots as well as his 12 months, and i declined! The 12 month shots made Alex so sick, I didnt want Cam to suffer anymore than he should have to. So, in 3 months I have to take him in for his 15.... It sucks to be behind!Tuesday, June 29, 2010

Girlie Day!
Yesterday my mom, nadja, friend Shelley, and I went to mesquite to get a mani/ pedi! Even though they are kind of a rip off (expensive to me), it was so much fun! I love having my feet, legs, arms, and hands rubbed! We went to Pizza Hut afterward for lunch. Nadja and Shelley are on diets and had to eat a salad (hahaha)! Then went to Walmart and came home!
I left the boys with a babysitter. We love her! But, a sad story (to me anyway...) Alex is getting pottie trained right now! He's doing so good, but doesn't know how to hold it while he's asleep. I completly forgot to tell the babysitter to put a diaper on him before he went down for a nap, so she didn't. When I got home he was in his room still kinda snoozin, kinda not. So, I went in there and he's of course peed everywhere! He was so sad, and crying. I didnt want to make the babysitter feel bad and say anything infront of her (it was completly my fault. She's only 16 and didn't know..) So I paid her said thankyou and yata yata yata. As soon as she left I got down on my knees, gave Alex a big hug and said "did you have an accident?" and he says, still crying, "yeah, I'm so sad!" I tell him that it's ok and that he's not in trouble (he thought he'd get in trouble :( ) I reassured him that he was not in trouble, mommy forgot to tell the babysitter to put a diaper on him. Then he looks at me and says, while crying, "dont take iron man away". It made me so sad, the way he said it... He gets iron man taken away when he's too lazy too go pottie in the toilet, but in this case it wasn't that way at all.. I've never seen him cry a sad cry! I've seen temper, owie, you suck mom cries, but never sad and it seriously broke my heart! Anyway, after he realized that everything was ok, we got him cleaned up and he gives me a big hig and says, "thanks mom! I love you!". It was so sweet! I love my little boys! LOL!!

Memorial Day
My boys and me
The kids, Grandma, and Nadja. (Nadja had to physically hold Alex in the frame of pic.)
Us girls and kids!
The traditional McDonalds Breakfast!
The kido table
It's the time that we give thanks to all of our fallen hero's who gave up their lives for us Americans! Putting flowers on all our loved ones headstones. Visiting our friends that were taken from us way too soon! Getting teary eyed everytime you pass a headstone of a baby or small child! Memorial day is not my favorite holiday, but I get the concept, and am very greatfull!
Every year we meet up at the cemetery (every year we seem to meet later and later). We always "visit" our family members and friends who are burried in the cemetery and afterwards... Head to McDonalds! Going to McDonalds is a tradition that I remember doing ever since it was opened! Grandma and Grandpa Bowler took us there every memorial day and would buy us breakfast! Good times! I love tradition! Anyhoo, after Micky D's we went over to my mom's house and played Beatles Rock Band! Always a good time when good music is around ;). And, that was our memorial day! Nothing much, but great memories, for me at least....

My New Hobbie
Recnetly, I decided I needed to learn how to knit! So, my little sis and I went to Joanne's and I got me some yarn and a how to book, and some crochet hooks.(I totally didnt know there was a difference..) While reading my book, I learned that I was a dork and didnt have the right supplies. The next day I went to the local hardware store and picked me up some needles! I have totally become addicted! For me it is very relaxing! It's something you can do while watching t.v. that doesn't require a whole lot of thinking. If I didnt have kids I could sit for hours and knit. Sometimes I knit until my hands start to cramp. Anyhoo! I love knitting. It's something I associate with old people, tho.... My mom never knitted, but both grandmothers did, so I feel like I should be old and gray, walking around with a cane :) Heeeeheeeeheeee! I love it though!Friday, April 23, 2010
Why I Love These Little Boys So Much!
MMMMmmmmm... Grilled cheese!
Sweet heart!
Mom, my nose is itchy!
These little guys are so sweet! Though, they are not perfect and are at times, down right ornery! They are truely little blessings!!! I have learned so much from motherhood, although patience would be nice! I have yet to learn patience.... They make me laugh everyday!
Alex is getting so smart! He knows most of his shapes, colors, some letters and some numbers. He once told me that the shape on the soccer ball was a pentagon! I dont think I tought him that one..... The other day he brought me a book (baby einsein) and he pointed at the word einstein and said "mommy, this is Little Eisnsteins"! He recognized the word einstein just from watching Little Einstein's on the Disney Channel. He knows all his colors aside from turqoise, marroon, or any "offset" color. He knows all the other colors but he just sees turqoise as being blue, marroon-red and so forth. I'm not really worried about it.... He recognizes everything else, so I'm ok with that! He brought me an easter egg yesterday and told me it was an oval. He is quite a.d.d. but he seems to learn really easily, and he doesn't forget, so i think he'll be ok when he starts school! Yes I worry about my kids struggling! I worry far too much about that kind of stuff!
Cam has officially started walking! He walks like a little old man and it is the cutest thing I've ever seen! He's also very smart! He has a little look in his eye that tells me he's up to no good! He is very mischievious and sneeky!! I dont know how, but he just knows stuff! He has figured out a way to lour me into the living room while he's in the kitchen climbing a chair! He's smart and sneeky, which makes it hard for me to take my eyes off him, even for a second! He doesn't talk much, at least not words I can understand... He says go "ga" momma, dada, i've heard him say Alex, only a couple times, tho. He calls the doggy dada , the kitty dada, most things are dada. Oh, I cant wait until he starts talking! I think he'll talk smack :) He is Alex's little Follower! He follows Alex and tries to do every thing Alex does. It's super cute!
I really love my little boys! They are crazy, hyper, sneeky, and oh so very sweet! They keep me running all day everyday! I'm exhausted! LOL!!
Clark County Fair, 2010
Alex in line for his first carnival ride, EVER!!
Picked out his horse!
Dont let go Daddy! He's afraid of heights!
Woo Hoo!
"racin cars"
"Rockets is the winner"
YAY!
He had a blast on the "racin cars" as he called them!
The fire truck!
Again, he absolutly loved the fire truck!

He had a blast!

Cam wanted to go too!

We told Alex to steer the airplane, and he grabbed the gun to "steer".

Wow! This is so cool!

AAAHHHHH!! It's getting so high! LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!
The fishies, or chichi's as alex calls them!
So cool!
His little head poking out was so cute! This year, the fair was the same as always, great food and medioker (sp) entertainment! Thursday night we went to the rodeo with Bonnie and Shane. The kids lost intrest pretty quickly! They enjoyed it for about an hour, or less..... They loved the small animal tent! Alex told me he wants a baby goat, baby lamb, baby piggy, baby duck, baby easter bunny, baby chicken, and a baby froggy?????..... He's a weird little duck! Friday afternoon we took Alex on the rides. He had a blast, but when we returned later to go on some rides with his cousins, he freaked out! I think one of the rides (probably the airplane) scared him and then he was just ,scared! We learned that he was afraid of heights! We didn't know that until he went on the merry-go-round! We tried to get him to go on the rides again on Saturday, but he was too scared, so we have tickets left over!
I was so glad to see the fair leave town! I know in a couple months I'll be anxious for it to come back! For now, I'm so gald it's over!

Hooray For Easter!
Jack Bird and Sally Sue playing!
Everybody with their full baskets!
The kid's baskets were so full of eggs, they had a hard time carrying them! They were heavy!
Woohoo! Easter Eggs!
Alex tip toeing toward the easter eggs
This year for Easter, we we all went over to Nadja and Nathan's house for our anual egg hunting party :). We let the little and A.D.D. (Alex) kids go first. The kids thought it was so cool that the Easter Bunny had brought all those treats!!! After the "hunt" we ate a yummy traditional Easter lunch! Ham, funeral potatoes, frog eye salad, and rolls. YUM! Great way to spend Easter! With family.
