Potty time!!!!

So, Danny decided that since we were going to be having another baby at the beginning of next year it was time to start potty training Alex. Alex just turned 18 months on the first of Aug and him being so young I really didn't think that he would even have an intrest in the potty at all!! As you can see...... he climbed into it. He did sit on if for a second, but I wasn't brave enough to take his diaper off. He wouldn't sit there long enough to actually go potty. He did have a really good time filling up the toilet with toys, then taking them out. It became kind of a game to him. I'm sorta scared to potty train him, because I dont really know how to go about the situation. Every kid is different and I dont know how to approach it. Oh, well!!! He's still my baby boy and when he can sit for more than a couple seconds, I will try the potty thing. I really dont mind changing diapers, I just dont want to be changing his still when he's four!!!

I know, I'm a dork!!!

Today I had my second OB appointment. The baby looked really good and had a good strong heart beat. I'm 9 wks 0 days today, and am so excited that everything is going well so far:)!!!!

Stinker

This morning I was in on the couch relaxing and I could here silverwear clanking in the kitchen. I go to inspect what was going on and this is what I found. Alex had unlatched the lid to the dishwasher, opened it up, climbed onto the lid and was pulling the dishes out. Before I could scold him for being a turkey, I had to take a picture. He's not supposed to play in the dishwasher, cause it's not safe, but it was pretty funny!!!!

"Dip It"

Well, Alex, being the little man that he is, loves to dip his food in condements. Chicken in ranch, chips and salsa,hotdogs and ketchup. Last night I decided to eat some left over Pizza Hut and Alex got a little impatient while waiting for the food to reheat, so I gave him an oreo cookie. He eats the middle first (that's the best part) then eats half of the actual cookie, then dinner was done. I put him in his booster seat (he thinks he's too big for a high chair) with his cookie, give him some pizza and some marinara sauce for dipping. He start eating the marinara sauce first, he's always gotta try it out before "dipping" and he starts to dip his pizza and bread sticks. He gets half way done with his breadstick then realised that he still had a half an oreo. He dips the oreo in the marinara sauce, Danny and I are thinking it's gonna make hime puke, spit it out, or something. Nope, not Alex!! He liked it and continued to eat the cookie dipped in sauce. Danny and I laughed so hard!! It was disgusting but very funny!!!!

Baby News

Yesterday i went to the dr. It was alot of fun!! My sisters went with me because Danny couldn't take the time off work. Nadja, Lara and I went shopping my app. This is our baby's first pic, only six wks in the tummy, about the size of a grain of rice right now. I was so excited when I saw the little flickering of the heart beat, I got teary eyed!!! We're all so ecstatic!!!

Exhausted!!!

This week has just completly drained me!!!! I'm ecstatic that we are expecting again, and so far everything is going well. I just have absolutly no energy and no motivation. Being pregnant with our first child was alittle easier, even though I was very sick and lost about 10 pounds during the first trimester. I was able to sleep when I needed to, puke (in peace) when I needed to, rest all day on the couch if I needed to. The fatigue is a killer and the morning sickness, BBLLLAAHH!!! I can honestly say that I'm not nearly as sick as I was with Alex, but I'm only about 6 1/2 wks along. So, we'll see!!! All I can say is that I desperatly need a really good nights rest!!!!
