Our Christmas

We all had such a good Christmas. Alex got super spoiled, and I was worried we wouldn't be able to afford anything. But Alex got a little plastic fourwheeler he can ride on, clothes, remote control truck, drum set, guitar, blocks (from uncle Bob) big leggos, a drawing board thingy, a tiger, tool set slippers, and a big truck that stores little cars in it. I got a new rocking chair, which I love!! clothes, a nintendo d/s, guitar hero game, and brain age 2, perfume, lotion, a new jacket, slippers, and a new robe and Danny got clothes, calogne, a voice changer star troopers mask (thats what he wanted) and his usual socks, underwear, and thermals. We all had an awesome Christmas, and are very blessed to have been able to afford a Christmas at all. Oh and my brother gave us a $200.00 gift certificate for amizon. NICE!!!! I bought stuff for the baby, and pretty much have every thing that I need, and Nellie and Dan gave Alex a little book and Danny and I a Rachel Ray cook book. So exciting!! Anyways, here are a couple pics of our Christmas.

Update

Well, it's been a whole, what two days since I last posted something?;) Alex is starting to get over his stomache flue, which he has had for a week now. He still kinda has the diahrea a little bit, but no more throwing up and not super runny poots anymore. Poor little guy, I was so worried about him getting dehidrated!!
I took my glucose test on Monday, and my blood sugars came back as elevated. I was not surprised, because I had gestational diabetes with Alex. I have to go back tomorrow and do the three hour test, which i'm sure will also come back as elevated. Every normal pregnancy has a 50% chance of having gestational diabetes, and since I had it with Alex I have more of a 70% chance of getting it with every pregnancy and I have more of a chance of developing type 2 diabetes later on in life. Hopefully I do not develope any other type of diabetes later on in life, but I guess there are worse things that could happen!! I plan on not havening to take any type of insalin with this pregnancy, I did it with Alex, I can do it again!! :) I completly controlled my blood sugars with diet and excersize, even though it was super hard, the thought of stabbing myself with a needle every day made me queezy!! That was motivation enough for me to not cheat on my diet, that and the thought of having a sick baby, or having a baby so big that it would require a c-section.
Anyhoo, I get my car back tonight, I am so excited!!! I have missed it so:(

just another post! :)

Today I had my annual, monthly dr visit (only now I will be going every two wks) and it was snowing in Vegas. I'd heard it would be, but I never believe the weather forcast people when they say it's going to rain or snow. It was just kinda crazy to see, cause it's so rare!!
Alex is getting over the stomache flue. It has not been fun!! Started out with super runny diahrea that was the consistency of water, then came on the throwing up!! He threw up his entire dinner, in bed while he was asleep on Saturday night about two hours after putting him to bed. Needless to say, he got a bath at 10:30 at night on Saturday. He was covered from head to toe and so was his bed. Poor kid. He hasn't been able to keep any food other than pedialite and goldfish crackers down. He hasn't had any energy, it's really sad, but he is starting to feel better:)
Oh, my new car, the spedometer stopped working and so we took it back to the dealership and I was supposed to pick it up today, if it was ready. They just gave me my infinity back as a loaner until they got it fixed. Anyways, Danny called today to see if it was fixed and to see if I could come pick it up. I guess that about a year or so ago that part was recalled on that car. So the dealership told Danny that they were'nt going to charge him for it and Danny said, good, because I wasnt going to pay for it. It broke the day we bought it, so no way are we going to pay for it!!! Which was true, it broke on our way home from the dealership, and I drove it around for a day with no spedometer. Anyways, it should be ready on Wed or Thur, then I can finally have my car back!! I miss her already:)!!

Happy Birthday to me!!!

For my birthday Danny got me a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. That is Alex, the car, and Danny at the dealership last night. My new car is pretty decked out!!! Has everything you can think of in it and is just very luxorious, dvd player, leather seats (a must with small children!!) seat warmers a bunch of buttons that I have no idea what they go to. Oh and instead of moving my seat closer to the peddals, I can move the peddals closer to me. I thought that was really cool!!

I have to tell you a funny story. Last night at the dealership ,we took Alex because we knew we wouldn't be home until later, so we took him with us. Anyways there wasn't hardly anybody there. A few salesmen and no other customers, so Alex was kinda free to run around, somewhat. Well we were sitting in the i guess lobby and there were a bunch of offices around with great big windows and Alex ran into one of them. Well, we told him to come out and he ran full force into the window. It was the funniest thing!! It looked like one of those windex comercials.Danny, Cliff (our sales guy/friend) and I laughed so hard!! It made me cry a little I was laughing so hard. Alex, didn't cry, but didn't think it was as funny as we all did. Anyways, it was pretty funny!! After we got everything situated with the trade in's and the car was ours, we went to I-HOP for my birthday dinner. It was nice (I'm very easy to please!!)

Nightmares

So, I'm pretty sure that Alex had his first nightmare last night. Alex is afraid of Danny's truck when he revs his engine. He has a really loud sounding engine, and I think Alex thinks that the truck is going to eat his daddy. Anyways, I had just barely drifted off to sleep last night when I heard Alex scream. Of course I jump up in my bed, thinking somebody was in his room or something. I look at our video monitor to make sure there was nobody in there and then after about 30 seconds of crying Alex starts saying, daddy car, daddy car. I'm pretty sure it was just a little nightmare about daddy getting eaten by the big blue truck. It's kinda funny!!

I'm going private!!

So, nadja informed me that she found a pic of Alex just by googling the name Henry Alexander Bradford. It kind of freaks me out a little so please e-mail me your e-mail addresses, because I'm switching over to private.

So, I finally got my Christmas tree decorated. We put it up over a week ago so clear out some space and I just barely put the decorations on it last night after I put Alex to bed. I just knew that he would be so much help!! He has already torn off half of th e decorations. I thought that since he was a year older than last year, he would somewhat leave the tree alone, boy was I wrong!! I still have lots to do when it comes to decorating the house. I'm going to buy some new stockings so that we can all have matching ones (last year Alex got a baby's first Christmas one, so it was only good for one year) and I'm going to get a new one for everybody (including baby Cameron) so we will have one for him also!

Tomorrow my mom, sister and I are having a yard sale. I'm so excited!! I'm selliing some of Alex's stuff like his crib sets (i had two, one that I bought and one that my aunt gave me) I have a new one for cam and dont see a point in keeping all three. I'm going to go through all of his toys and his clothes, even though I probably wont get rid of those. He never really had tons of clothes and we have a new baby boy to dress also. I'm just so excited to sale stuff!!! I'd sale everything I owned so that I could give our family a really good Christmas, but hopefully I will make enough money so that I can give us a decent Christmas. Alex desperatly needs clothes and Danny and I are pretty well set! Cam is also well set, just Alex.:)
