Kids' check up

The other day i took the kids in for their 4 month and 2 yr check up. Cam weighed 14lbs 13oz and was 28 inches long and was in the 25% for all of those and was in the 30% for his head size (but I cant remamber what that was. Alex weighed 27.6 lbs and was 38 inches tall and is also in the 25% for those things. They are both growing and getting so big!! Alex has an imagination now, and the stories he come up with are so funny! He is getting better at talking, and picks up on EVERYTHING you say!! It's a good thing we dont use profanity!! He can speak in full sentances now, even tho it's hard to pick up on all the words he says. He knows alot of his shapes and colors and tries to count but it usually comes out 1,2,3,5,7,9,10,7,6,7,8,9.......... he tries. He scan recognize some letters, he knows b and I guess thats it and everything is a b. He is interested in space, stars, and the moon. When he's old enough he needs a telascope!! He loves swimming, running, and just playing. He has tons of energy!!
Cam is such a sweet little boy!! He was sick for a couple days after he got his shots, poor thing!! He ran a fever and wouldn't let me put him down for two days. I hate when the kids dont feel good!! He loves big brother!! He wants so badly just to get up and run around with brother and he gets so frustrated when he cant!! He cant do anymore tricks than he could in the last post. No teeth yet, he doesn't say mama or dada yet, and no crawling yet, but I told him that he was never to become mobile, or grow up!! He is to stay a baby forever, but I remember telling Alex that too, but he didn't listen either!! I love my little boys!! They are so sweet!!

2 1/2 years old!!!

I dont think that I've ever done a big post for Alex, and I didn't have a blog when he was born. Even tho he's 2 1/2 now and I have another kid, it still seems like yesterday that I found out I was pregnant with him. It wasn't an " easy pregancy" and it seemed like it was even harder to get pregnant with him. Before I got Pregnant with Alex I had two miscairages. The first one I was almost 10 weeks along and the baby died due to lack of perjestrone that I was not producing. The second one was about 3 months after the first and I was only about 6 weeks along. It took me nine months to get pregnant again, then it was a "good" pregnancy. I had no complications until later on when i was diagnosed with gestational diabetes but I never let that bring me down. I was called the food nazzi by my dr because I was not going to have to give myself insalin shots, so I was on a very strict diet, but it payed off because Alex was born a beautiful 6lb 5oz 19 in baby with no complications (and I never had to give myself shots!!).

Alex has been spoiled rotten since the day he was born mostly because I never thought it would happen for me. He has for the most part always gotten everything he ever wanted and is a little bit of a monster because of it, but he's my little monster:) I love my little Rocket so much!! I can not believe how fast he's grown up!!! Sweet boy!!

P.S. Alex started walking at 11 months and i'm so... scared Cam will do the same, or even earlier...scary!!

5 Months old already!!

My baby boy Cam is five months old today!! He is the sweetest, layed back little boy!! He is a very happy little guy which makes it so easy for me:) His tricks are rolling over back to front (both ways) and front to back (only one way). He laughs, "talks", smiles, tries reaching for people, and toys (but does not have much control of his hands yet). He is just such a little joy!!He loves playing with brother and can not wait til he can get up and run around with him.

He is very uncuddly!! The only time he will cuddle with anybody, is if he's dead tired!! He'd rather be playing than cuddling!

For the most part he's sleeping through the night. He'll wake up for his binki about 5 a.m. (and I still get up and give it to him) and wakes up for a bottle at 7. Then I put him back to bed, because i'm still tired, and he'll sleep til 8:30, 9 only Alex wakes up at 7:30, 8. It's just wishfull thinking to actually want to sleep in past 8, some day when i'm 100 i'll get to sleep in:) Anyhoo... My next post will be Alex's 2 1/2 year post, which will be on the 1st. My baby's just refuse to stop growing!!

Disconnected??

Lately i've been having a hard time, being somewhat of a "single mom", stressing out about putting food on the table. Last month for the first time I had to choose to either pay all the utlilities and buy groceries, or pay the mortgage. Of course I chose the utilities/food over mortgage. (did pay mortgage too, but was late) I feel so disconnected from myslef and everyone around me. It's a very strang feeling! It feels like I'm watching my life go by through somebody elses eyes. Kind of like I'm a zombie, I guess? Every day is the same, I wake up feed the kids, get them dressed, I usually dont get breakfast because by the time I get everybody else taken care of, it's almost lunch time. I play with the kids, feed them both lunch put them down for a nap, lay down for a half hour or so then either Alex escapes from his room, or Cam wakes up. So, i get up and play some more and try to clean up the house. Play with kids til dinner time, give them both baths and get ready for bed, put them to bed then I'm so tired but have so much to do but too tired to care. Every day is the same thing, I'm just so exhausted!! I so need a spa day!!! Get pampered, have no worries for a couple hours. If only we could afford that.... Oh well!!

Fun time swimmin

Lara, Chris, Davis, Allie, and Christopher got a new inflatable pool/slide. As soon as I found they got it, i was itching to get over there and try it out!! Today Alex, Cam and I went over there for lunch and we decided to go "swimmin". It was as much fun as I thought it would be!! Alex and I went down the slide at least a thousand times, the same for Davis and Chris. Us grown up's had as much fun, if not more than the kids did.
