Clark County Fair

I found some stray dogs. They were cute, so I decided to keep them :)

Alex LOVED the pony's!

Danny traded a bottle of water so he could do the bunjee thingy for free....

Doing some flips

Getting harnased up

Cute little cowboy!

He had a blast!

So cool

This year the fair was all types of crazy! Thursday we got hurricain speed winds, Friday was freezing and windy, Saturday we got rain, thunder, lightning, hail, snow, FREEZING! Sunday was the only nice day! We tried to take Alex on the rides before the weather got bad on Saturday, but he freaked! We decided to eat some lunch then try again after but by then the craziness started! As we walked to the car lighting was flashing all around us. So close that it made me jump! Me being 9 1/2 months pregnant at the time couldn't move quick enough! Fun times, LOL! Danny had a booth this year. He was selling Hawiian natural spring water. Very delicous! We spent alot of time crashing his booth, hahaha. Here are the very few pics that I got at the fair this year.

(Warning: blogging on sleep deprivation and pain killers. No, I'm not drunk)

Monday the 11'th came. I hadn't slept all night. I was so excited about my appointment in the morning to have my amnio (was also pretty scared...). We wake up birhgt and early and my mom comes over to watch the kids while we are in town. When we get to the hospital they hook me up to the baby monitors. While monitoring me, the nurse told me that the baby wasn't looking like they'd like him to, but everything was ok. Dr. Swainston comes in, does my amnio (which wasn't that bad...) and then he looks at my strip and says the same thing as the nurse. He told me that they might be keeping me there at the hospital. He told the nurse to keep me on the monitors and they both left. As soon as they walked out of the room, the baby's heart rate dropped. Dr Swainston walks back in and says the baby is not supposed to be doing that (i wasn't having contractions at the time.). So we sat there while I was being monitored and they decided to admit me. The baby finally stabalized so they decided to start me on a really low dose of pitocin just to see how he'd handle labor. At first he was doing great, but that didnt last more than an hour and a half. He then started to have major decels in his heart rate. My nurse called Dr Swainston, comes back in an tells me the dredded news! Dr. Swainston was on his way to the hospital to do an emergency c-section! My face, Danny's face, and Lara's face's dropped! All of us were pale and I just started bawling! I was SO scared! I've never been so scared in my life! So I sit there crying, they give Danny and myself our surgery atire. Danny gets all surgery ready, and I'm still crying. I didnt want to go! We walk to our o.r. and i'm having major anxiety (I could hardly breathe) and we go into our room. It's freezing, bright, tons of people every where. I sit on my operating bed and my nurses student just stood there with me and held my hand and rubbed my back. (she was so sweet!) I was pretty much in shock! they give me my spinal, Dr Swainston comes in and tries to lighten the mood (after Danny had given him a hard time in the hall. So sorry about that...) They bring Danny in, cut me open, pull the baby out and there is no visable reason why he wasn't handling labor.. He was perfect and healthy! After it was over, it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. I'm just so thankful that Jonathon was healthy and I had an awesome dr! My anesthisiologist gave me a little somthin somethin in my i.v. to calm me down ( I wanted to kiss him after that) and I got stitched up and went to my room shortly after to see my sweet little baby boy! Recovery has sucked really bad! It hurts to laugh, sneeze, cough, make sudden movements. I cant wait to be able to rough house with my big boys again because I have missed it so much! It was a pretty crazy ride, that's for sure! All I know is that we are so lucky to have three healthy, beautiful boys!!!!

38 Weeks!

This will be the last "fat" pic of me! (other than what's taken at the hospital). Monday I go into the hospital at 7:30 a.m. for an amnio. I really think that Jonathon is going to be ready to come join us! Then, based on maturity, I go into the hospital at 8:00 p.m.! I cant believe its already been 9 1/2 months! This pregnancy has seriously FLOWN by sooooo fast! I feel a little overwhelmed! I have so much to do, that doesn't have to be done but I'd like it to be done before he gets here because I see life getting super crazy for a little while. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to handle three kids yet..... I really hope everything goes well, for my sake....

I have a feeling this baby is going to be huge! I'm carrying this baby completly different than my last two pregnancies, so I cant really judge my size as to how big I think he'll be, but he feelis big! This baby i'm carrying so far out and so low! Alex I carried super in and kind of low. Cam was in the middle. He was kind of out there and a little low... This baby is so out there that it sometimes feels that my belly isn't even attatched to me. No this does not give anybody the right to tell me how big I look, though! Yes I look like I'm about 41, or 42 week along, but keep all opinions to yourself :) It's still rude to call people big, even if they are pregnant. I know I feel like a huge cow, I really dont need people agreeing with me! At least letting me know they agree with me.... What goes around comes around. That's all I can say about that! I put a curse apon anybody else who calls me "big". That is a lifetime of FATNESS! I hope you get fat and have to be wheeled out of your house, Pepsi guy! (I know that's just not nice, but neither is calling people names...)

36 Weeks, 5 Days....

Today I had my normal dr's app. I went in... even though my belly is huge! the height of the fundus or what ever it's called (height of my belly) is only measuring 34 weeks which is pretty normal for me. The baby usually measures 1 week small and my belly measures 2 weeks small. Anyways! My induction date was supposed to be on the 14th, which is what they'd said last time, but, when I went in today, they told me I had the amnio and induction set for the 7th! I think I turned pale! It really surprised me and I just figured my mom and I had heard wrong at my last appointment.... Let me say that I was pretty distracted the whole drive from Vegas! I cant believe that in one week from today, I might be having a baby! I'm extremly nervous! I was in shock alittle and totally didn't even think to ask any questions. So, now, I might be having a baby next week! It's completly crazy to me!!!!

(did I mention I peeked through my records to just to see and they did originally say that on the 14th I would be induced. I dont know what changed....)

On another completly different note (lol)... Danny's car got broken into last night and his wallet got stolen! I guess it happened to quite a few other people. Such a pain in the butt!!! Somebody's been going around and taking purses and wallets and nothing else out of cars. So, Danny had to cancel his cards, get a new license. Good thing nothing else was in there :)

3 Weeks From Today!!!!

Woooohhhooooo!! I can hardly stand the excitment!! I went to the dr today and I get to be induced on April 14th! I am seriously SSSSSOOOOOO excited! The only issue with that is I have to get an amnio.... It's not a big deal, but sticking a huge needle in my tummy scares me! At least with an epidural you dont see the needle.. Anyways, it's all good, though! I could wait until the "safe" range of 7 days before my due date, but my dr will be on vacation. He does have a partner who would deliver my baby and even though we've never officially met, he seems to be really nice and he also is an amazing dr (voted Las Vegas top 20 ob/gyn's) but then i'd have to wait another week to be induced... That would put me 1 or 2 days before my due date. I did that with Cam and I dont want to do it again with this baby :). I'm sick of all the aches and pains of being pregnant, oh, and I hate the belly which restricts me from bending at the waist... I guess if worse comes to worse, Jon Jon's lungs wont be fully developed and I have to wait the extra week anyway, but at 10 days before my dd, he should be more than ready :) I hope anyways.... All I can say is YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!! I cant wait to hold my little boy~!

35 Weeks! 5 More To Go (hopefully 4 or less..)

Here it is... My gigantic belly at 35 weeks...... I am getting SO excited and oh so very anxious! I honestly feel like my belly cant grow much more before it will burst! I know I'm bigger than I was with Alex, possibly even Cam. Thank goodness I have not gained as much weight as I had with Cam, though! Usually I'd not share, but so far I've gained about 23 lbs and by the time Cam was born i'd gained 40. My goal is no more than 30 with this baby! That's a reasonable goal for me (thats what i gained with Alex)! I'm not one to starve myself for any reason and I've been so hungry! I usually dont snack other than before bed and I eat a big lunch so I dont get hungry in between meals. I really just want to be able to lose the baby weight! It's so important to not feel like a cow :). Anyways! I will start to see my dr every week after my next app (next week). He'll start checking me, it's just so crazy how fast this pregnancy has flown by! I'm going to set an induction date (hoorray!) and see if he'll strip my membranes (not this app, though). I always have a fear of my baby coming before it's ready. Being full term doesnt mean a fully developed baby. I'm hoping to go into labor during the fair :). That would be awesome! We are all so excited (except for Cam, he doesn't quite understand.) and cant wait for the little nugget to get here :)
